Holla guys, I'm having issues with this game, like the whole win95 thing. Can anybody are to explain abit deeper, pretty please?

Right click the program then go to properties, and look for the tab called compatibility. You can change to windows 95 there.

I've been having trouble getting Love Potion to run. Initially it would not run at all but that was solved by following the above advice about how to run it in Win96 Compatible mode.
Now, while it starts out fine, after a minute or so the following error pops up
"The Midi header was not prepared. Use the prepare function to prepare the header and then try again."
Somebody suggested i use the starting menu to disable the sound altogether, but the starting menu only gives me the option of play(or new game, whatever), continue, and memories.
Anybody know how i solve this?

all you got to do is to disable the sound A.S.A.P before the error message appear
the music n the sound to be exact
once you disable those function everything will be ok

How? No menu options come up to give me access to any sound disabling functions. The only menu options that come up are Beginning, Continue, and Extra.
Continue and Extra are both greyed out and unselectable. All I can do is click begin and by the time the first in-game choice pops up, the error pops up and kills the game.
I've tried pushing Escape to see if that would bring up some kind of submenu or something, but nothing happens. Same with all of the F keys.
So please, by all means, tell me HOW to disable the sound lol
