Dammit, i just bought the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection not too long ago.
oh well. MGS4 goes for like 10 bucks now and the original solid is on the PSN.

Legacy collection includes MGS4 with TROPHY capacity. PSN trophies if I am not misinformed, which ot apparently lacked previously (if I am misinformed, do correct me). When I buy a ps3 this month, I will also buy the Legacy Collection as I only have MGS HD for Vita, which is crappy, since it's wearing down the buttons.
One question, does the Legacy collection contain MGS2 Substance and MGS3 Subsistence, or would I have to buy them separately?
It is called the Legacy Collection for nothing, so it will have the HD versions of MGS 2 and 3, yes.
Thinking of picking this up to play the Metal Gear games I never played yet, like the two original games as well as MGS4, and I have yet to complete Peace Walker story and trophy wise. Also, I think the artbook is a sweet deal too.

the trophy thing is a simple update. my friend has the original version of MGS4 and when it receieved trophies he proceeded to get the platinum (which by the way takes at least 8 playthroughs). there is no difference, this version just comes with the trophies pre-installed

I thought that Subsistence was like VR Missions for MGS3... I was mistaken. Nevermind my post.
That's why I didn't buy it back then, the big deal originally was that it had the online and original Metal Gear games.
