Mindbending puzzle games

I like puzzle games, but I'm getting a bit tired of just the sort of block swapping or tile matching puzzle games that make up my favorite puzzle games ever.

I want to try a few puzzle games that will bend my mind and make me think in new ways to achieve the solution.
Give me anything you got except Antichamber. I already beat that one and loved it, hence why I'd like to play more games like it.

Well there's the Professor Layton series, which are more a series of logic puzzles than the standard tile/color matching.

Like mentioned above, the Layton games are pretty good. There's also Portal 1 and 2, along with the classic Myst series (hell, I think most olden point n click adventure games could qualify as puzzle games).

It's not out yet I think, but you'd also do well to keep track of another mind twister called The Witness (made by the guy who did Braid).

Ever tried Deadly Rooms of Death (Drod)? A browser based pseudo-rpg where you beat shit solving movement puzzles.

999 and Virtue's Last Reward.

Catherine, it's got a great story as well. But I dunno what platform your asking for. (ps3/xbox360)

You could try FEZ which is a platforming puzzle game. It even has a "secret" language in it that you might want to give a shot at cracking (or google it after you throw in the towel). Might also like Starseed Pilgrim, so look it up on youtube and give it a try if it tickles your fancy.
