Muv Luv Alternative+ Hawken

So, recently I've been playing Hawken and it occurred to me that Hawken and MLA would be a match made in heaven. Tweak the physics regarding the boost and boosted jump. Add in a melee system; this'd be hard to do but I think a way that might work would be to hold down weapon 1/ 2 key then move the mouse in the direction you wanna cut. Putting in melee would be damn hard IMO, but it'd be badass to see a first person mech simulator put that shit in. Also, considering that the developers are already thinking about co-op missions of some sort, implementing a BETA horde mode or a simulation of some of the missions in MLA or its meta-verse doesn't seem too unreasonable.
Now I know this will never happen, but I cream my pants every night thinking about this. Just wanted to put my wet dream out on the table. What would be awesome is if the developers allowed modding for their game, but that seems unlikely. And even in the unlikely event that they do allow modding, I doubt there's enough interest in MLA to actually get this up.

Muv Luv is all about the story. I haven't played Hawken but it seems its just about mech battles. Just beacuse Muv Luv has mech battles doesn't mean it would be "a good match" Muv Luv should never be matched with anything. This series especially Alternative is fucking godly, it needs nothing else. Making Alternative into a game which it focuses on mech battles more then the storyline would make me die a little inside.

@echoeagle3: Yeah, trying to ADAPT MLA into a FPS mech simulator wouldn't be the easiest thing to do, and any attempt to do so would likely bastardise the original story.
What I'm trying to advocate is using the MLA IP and turn it into a FPS mech simulator. Whilst an existing project exists, it feels more like Unreal Tournament with the MLA assets.
@ Rovencrone: Yeah, I had my eye on that for a while. However, after playing Hawken, I think a true FPS mech simulator would do the MLA universe more justice. The project by 'Little Meteor' feels like a FPS based off the Unreal Tournament engine. In essence, its not a mech simulator. Also, everything about the game is too 'flighty' (incorrect usage of the word, but I hope you get the meaning); there's no weight to the combat, and tactics just don't seem to play a role. This is why , after playing Hawken, I'd say that Hawken would be a better base upon which to build a MLA themed mech simulator. The combat in Hawken is much more intense and visceral than what can be seen from the trailers of this project.

honestly when I finished muvluv, I wondered how well a hover tanks, based on about six of those waist based thruster systems (four on each corner to hover, two to propel the aircraft forward), would fair against most of the mechs. I would probly arm it with an autoloading 90=120 mm short barrel mortar armed only with HEAT rounds to overcome the complex armor should I run into any. It would extremely versitile because it would be high speed and high manueverability, more so than any of the mechs. would probly rofl stomp them even....
