My first game...

I think my first one Super Mario World for the SNES.
I got it from my father when I was 5 years old.

Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega MegaDriver (Genesis in US)
Played it at about the age of 4-5.

The Legend of Zelda. The original one for the NES if that somehow needs clarification.

Damn, I don't even remember, but it was something for NES. It was either Super Mario Bros. 3 or one of the first two Zelda games. I have roms for all of them somewhere on my computer, but all the NES emulators I find are crap.

It was called Beach Head, and I played it on the 48k zx Spectrum, it had lol worthy graphics, and took about 10-15 mins to load.

Mario on the NES or Duck Hunt....I can't remember which...one of those two.

Maniac Mansion.

Traumatized me for some time, couldn't sleep/had nightmares because I was too afraid of the doctor's wife running after me with a knife and stuff.

Ohh, Duck Hunt. That was another one of my firsts. I long for the days of shooting pixelated 2-dimensional ducks. I tried playing ROMs and other things, but without the gun, its not Duck Hunt.

Well, assuming you mean console. I went to a friend of the family's house and played Duck Hunt back in the 80s.

Or ... in my case (most likely anyway) ... Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt cartridge.

NES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II

HOLY SHIT!!!! I loved Maniac Mansion! I still have it too. Ohh, the days of playing Maniac Mansion after school.

My first game was Pitfall on Atari. It was wonderful.

For me it was game called "Monster Party" for the NES. I remember playing it with my friend for hours trying to beat the monster that turned into a kabob then an onion ring and then a shrimp covered in breadcrumbs... (Epic Boss) And this game was for kids. Turning into a monster that flew and fired energy blasts was fun, but you mostly just beat every creature with a baseball bat... Seriously, I'm not kidding about this game. Go look it up.

I'm looking for a ROM right now. Shit, I also need to find an emulator that doesn't totally suck.

What emulators have you been trying? I use nestopia to play all those games that are for my dead NES, and I can use some nice filters with it.

In addition to Super Mario/Duck Hunt, I played Pinball, Zelda I and II, a little Dragon Warrior, Excitebike, Metroid, The 3D Battles of World Runner, and a flying top-down shooter that I can't remember the name of. And Castlevania of course.

Yeah, I just got Nestopia a little while after I started looking. I had this other one that was pretty good, but sometimes it get all glitchy.
