I did not find a thread for either Payday: The He!st, or Payday 2 on the masterlist, if there is one, please notify me. If not this thread will be for both Payday: The He!st (the first one) and Payday 2.[/h]
Note: be wary of typos.

Payday: The He!st[/h] (its supposed to be an "i", hueuheh get it)[/h]

[My short-ish review/introduction below.]
Spoiler:

Payday was made by a Swedish based 'out-of-nowhere' game development company named "Overkill".
released: October 20, 2011 for PC; October 18, 2011 for North American PSN; and November 2, 2011 for PSN in Europe.

Characters

This game feature a very likeable cast of characters (from left to right on the topic picture):
Dallas, the all 'Murican smooth talker;
Forum Image: https://www.fakku.net/image-404/images/1805249-3NLBWSM.jpg, the Australian sneak with a keen eye;
Wolf, the shaky technician who loves making things to boom;
Chains, The former army soldier who loves leading the charge;
and Bain, the mastermind behind it all.

The characters themselves have quick witty banter between each other, and if you pay attention enough, you'll learn who has a special bond with one another (e.g. Wold and Hoxton).
The enemies are varied and distinct from one another; you'll know when normal officers come to stop your heist, you'll know when SWAT comes to stop your heist, you'll know when the army comes to stop your heist.

Gameplay

The gameplay is quite solid, but the game is sometimes harder then it should be to play offline; team A.I. is a little... Iffy.
At first, your guns will be a little inaccurate and run out of ammo quickly, but as your weapon upgrades (through playing and not through buying upgrades), the guns becomes more reliable.

The missions in BOTH Payday games are varied. It might seem that they would just be rob X bank for its Y and escape, but the missions are incredibly varied!

There are some points in the game that are anger inducing, but overall, it is very fun to rob and heist all sorts of levels and banks with your friends. Did I mention this games co-op is amazing?

Payday 2[/h]Out now!

[very short review below]
Spoiler:
After the release of Payday 1, the team of Overkill realized that Payday 1 had a cult following. With Payday 1's great teamwork, fun levels, and awesome secrets, it sold quite well.
So... Sequel!

Payday 2 takes place in Washington DC (a state in the USA where most political stuff happens), Most all of the characters return in the game to steal all sorts of things.

The gameplay has partially: you can now board up windows to block incoming fire, carrying huge bads filled with gold actually weighs you down, stealth plays a MUCH bigger role, and you can actually shop for weapons at your own leisure.
[skipping the review]
overall, Payday 2 is very good, but it is still very anger inducing playing offline.

If you would like to add a video or section to the OP, request it in your post.

Now that that is out of the way, post whatever you like Payday 1/2 related here.
Post your character with your favorite guns and masks, post your own thoughts on the game(s) post a video of you running through the gold heist on Overkill completely stealthy, try to get a gang together and do some games, etc.

I've only played Payday 2 for a few days. I'm enjoying the co-op of the game. I can never do stealthy though, someone always gets spotted.

I can't take screencaps of my game for some reason, so uh...

Spoiler:
I play a tech guy (recently unlocked the ability to use C4 to bust open safes)
I use the AUG, I modded it to hell
I'm currently using the mask called "Blackhearted"
I use either a silenced MP5, or a man-volver that has also been modded.

I'm going to mask farm for a long while, because I recently found out that this mask exists; I want it. Badly.
I'm just gonna be running level 1 missions solo - so I can get as many cards as I can. That mask looks so awesome!

iv played both payday 1 and 2 I pre ordered payday 2 in fact
I jump in games at random just rushing in and killing things quick as I can
if anyone sees deathgod7421 pop in that's me
I have silencers (don't normally use em but I will if asked) but don't expect too much from me in terms of stealth
but in case stealth fails you'll be glad im there

payday 2 character
weapon choices
depends on the mission most the time I use the IZHMA shotgun the ak.762 or the AUR as my primary and krinkov smg bernentti9 pistol the locomotive shotgun or the korbus 90 smg as my secondary

play style
[spoil]I mainly do combat rarely stopping in advance terms its a mix of blitzkrieg and guerrilla warfare mainly with some suppress and flank tactics

in basic terms I'm constantly moving granted if you or someone else gos down I'll try to get to you and get you back up hell even might give you a few seconds cover fire but don't expect me to stay still if your dragging your heels or there are few enemys around I don't like wasting ammo if there isn't enough enemys in the area for it to be worth it.

that being said only times I ever stay in one place are bank vaults just need alittle patience and you've got a steady flow of enemys to shoot[spoil/]

I got Payday 2 at random without having played the first. It feels like it's trying a little too hard for the fact that it's just a L4D clone, but I can enjoy the co-op aspect regardless.
