Persona 5 Royal - General SMT/Persona Thread

I tried to get into the series with Persona 3, 4 and P5 when that one came out. But I just can't stand the whole limited time to do things mechanic. Hate it so much. Love the music and general style of the games, outside of actually playing it, lol.

I waited almost a year to play Persona 5 Royal, but I wish I played Royal like I played Persona 5 for the first time.

In my opinion, as I enjoy the persona series the limited time frame can be abit frustrating. but this feature is exclusive to only the persona series as ATLAS's mainline series Shin Megami Tensei has some gems that are far more enjoyable such as SMT 3 Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga. Even though the Shin Megami Tensei games are abit out dated due to ATLAS putting all their focus on the Persona series after the launch of Persona 3.

I'm hoping they bring the game to PC.

in the 2 and a half decades SMT has been around they have never brought it to PC, and they have no plans on porting any of their mainline or spinoffs to PC. They primarily make games for the 3DS and PS4

so do I man, but they practically abandoned their mainline because Persona got too popular. ATLUS also mentioned at one point on making a Persona MMO but it didnt happen and instead they made those shitty dancing games.

you are very late on that xd but as a very popular opinion. Persona 4 was the worst of all 5 of the games, they should of ported Persona 2 or 3 instead, maybe even 5 to cash out more money on the Persona 5 Scramble hype.

I disagree, there's a huge fanbase of people that missed out on playing P4 Golden simply because they didn't own a vita. In fact steamspy estimates they've sold 500k-1M copies which is extremely good. If also required the least work compared to other games because releasing P2 or P3 would have required much more work to swing a PC version since people would expect higher resolutions than the game had assets for.

Played the original P5 and now working through royal content! I also tried Playing 4 but never got around to finishing it and lost my save. (っ- †¸ - Ï‚)

Almost beat the first one but now have moved on to Royal. Will finish once done with Nier.

From how I see it, every Persona game is you preventing a Shin Megami Tensei from happening and succeeding. I really enjoy P4 & P5, but I'm not really a huge fan of the games before it.

I really wish we'd get more appearances from previous characters from P1 and P2. They did save the world and all, I wanna see how they're doing.
