Rock Band

So, did anyone buy it?

I didn't pre-order, so I doubt any stores will have and bundles left. Maybe I'll get it later though.

my roommates are going at 10AM today to pick it up (I think the best buy closest to us opens at 10).

Hm, last time I checked, I think Rock Band was at least 170$ and you had to have a big room to play it in, or the drum thingys won't fit..

I went to go get it from Best Buy this morning, but their shipment never came. -_-
Gave me a rain check and a $25 gift card...

Then I went to Walmart, they said they were sold out. On the way out, I saw one behind the counter and asked if it was for sale. They said yes, I asked why it was returned ('cause I don't want a faulty one of course) and they said some grandma got it for her grandkid but they wanted the 360 version instead of PS3. So I bought it, opened it in the car to make sure it was all in there, and it was the DEMO VERSION. What the heck.

So I returned it and went home and was bummed for the rest of the day. I hope Best Buy call tomorrow. =/

Damn it, all I had to do was go to Target after Best Buy..! I made such a foolish mistake!

I'll hopefully get to play this today if my buddy comes over. Can't wait.

We got it yesterday at 10AM and have been playing it pretty much straight through. The bass petal just broke an hour ago. Really shitty peripherals. Guitar that comes with the package sucks ball also. You're gonna wanna get another xbox360 guitar hero 2 guitar. The game is also extremely repetitive. When the band goes on tour you play the same two songs at least 20 times (nirvana and weezer). Aside from all the annoying shit that is happening, the game play is pretty fun. Definitely get the warranty on the controllers though.

Well, I got it this morning and played with a bunch of friends until just now. It's so good~

Luckily, all my controllers are perfectly fine. I thought the guitar was a little fishy at first, but I just wasn't used to it. It definitely works, since in Band World Tour my friend was consistently getting 95% and above on all the songs on expert level.

I played it and its great! I'm hoping to get it for Christmas, its so much fun. We didn't have any problem with the instruments at all.

don't waste your money then, unless you get an insurance plan on it. Guitar has non-mechanical strum bar which provides no tactile feedback and sucks.

Picked one up at Gamestop the day before Thanksgiving, lol. Thought it was going to be sold out. Been playing with my brother over Thanksgiving break.
