RPG maker games (ib, yume nikki, etc)

So, do any of you play RPG maker games? Personally my favorite is Yume Nikki and ib. I love the feel they bring me. What do you think about the endings? what are your theories on the ending for Yume Nikki?

One thing I really love about them is the Music. I also really enjoy the other ones like The witches House, and To the Moon. Both endings to me, were also quite sad.

So have you played any RPG maker games, and what were your favorites?

Haven't really played too many of these games, but I see the potential. I made a character for my brother and his friend's RPG (originally made in RPG Maker VX, being remade in ACE), and he was really affected by the game To The Moon, which is another title that hit indie fame that year.

I could help you with ib and Yume Nikki, but i'm not THAT great at the other ones lol. But i'm defintely good with ib an Yume Nikki. To the moon did have a sad ending, I cried XD

I've played those games you mentioned, and I've gotten around to Witch's House, and Mad Father. Good stuff.

Yume Nikki is actually one of my favorite games and I loved Ib, I still need to play some of the others that got more popular.

I think if you really loved ib, you would probably really like Mad Father. The main character is really cute and it kind of gives me an "ib" feel. Maybe its just me lol. It has very nice music too.

The Witch's House was great. Had some awesome plot twists. Mad Father was also good.

Oh yes it did. I wasn't expecting the ending at all.

I love RPG maker games, i like to spend over them when i have it.
I particularly like the horror ones, Ib was very enjoyable to me.

Ive played a few H-games created using rpgmaker/3d custom girl, a couple of which were really good, though unfinished. I've never played any of the non hentai games though.

I'm glad to see theres other people on here who enjoy this stuff!

You should play the non H-game ones! If you like horror, and stuff you should really try out Yume Nikki, ib, mad father and the witches house.

I not only play some games from RPG maker, i also do some. I dont post it in any forums because they're not in the same level as IB, clock of atonement, Alter A.I.L.A Genesis, Ao Oni, etc...

But i do played IB 'till i got almost all finals that it have and yeah, i liked it pretty much. I also got the chance to learn some cool techniques for some future games i'm planning *-*

Unfortunately i've never heard of yume nikki... Probably cheking it out now that i at least know the name :x

Oh, I love RPG Maker games. Ib was great and I just played through Mad Father. Wasn't really a fan of Yume Nikki or .flow and Ao Oni was okay I guess. About to play Witch's House and am looking forward to it.

I've actually wanted to play some RPG maker games, but at the same time I've been meaning to get better at making them.
Bought it on a Steam Sale for like 20% off and it's a fucking steal to be honest.
