First Marvel vs Capcom, then Kingdom Hearts, and now SMT X Fire Emblem.

So from the trailer, it looks like they're staying away from the Persona series and focusing more on their less popular ones like Devil Surviver and Digital Devil Saga. It's a good and bad thing, because while it's good that Atlus still remembers these franchises(especially DDS), the downside is, it probably won't bring in alot of SMT fanbase if there's no Persona characters. I'm VERY curious to see how the story is going to be.

Well they're making a Persona game for the 3DS and they've been working on Persona 5 for while so I wouldn't say "straying away".

But yeah...I like both series and I'm really curious to see more.

OMG The Wii U is really starting to "kill me slowly" into buying it.

Then there's that other "title-less" game by Monolith Soft... >_>

Don't buy it. Its not worth it yet. I say wait it out and then get it after there are multiple games that would warrant a buy and for the price to drop like all Nintendo products do.

This looks interesting. I'm curious to see what the gamplay is going to be like.

Well, either way, damn... too many games that look promising announced for the Wii U as well, seems I'll need a bigger room, or give away some things that I don't use anymore to have more space here xP

Bayonetta 2, Untitled Monolith Soft game, Super Smash Bros sequel and now this, it's almost filling the quota for me to get a new console, just one more game and it's all set lol

Of course, I would be buying the console when at least 3 of the games I have hopes for are released.

I'm still recently into the SMT franchise (got in because of Persona 4 The Animation, and I'm playing Devil Survivor 2 and Persona 4: Arena) but this looks like it'll be quite good.

P.D. Now I wonder how the battle system will be?
If it becomes a sort of hybrid between the two, I'll be expecting freaking hard bosses (Atlus is there after all) and perma-deaths for your characters xD

Atlus themselves stated a while back that they had a Persona game coming to the 3DS and labeled it SMT: Persona.(temporary name for now)

[color=#006FFF]As a huge Fire Emblem fanboy, and someone who's always love the dark atmosphere of SMT games, this is a dream come true. Of course, it does raise many questions about what the story will be, how will it play (almost certain it'll remain a SRPG, but you never know) and who's going to do what in the game as far as the two companies are concerned. While I admire the SMT series, I generally prefer everything about FE more, so I'd be biased.

Since Intelligent Systems has stated before that Awakening, when in its initial phase, was supposed to actually take place in a futuristic setting, I have some high hopes for IS' input in this world seeing as how they've wanted to do something like it for some time now. For now, I'm curious, so I'll wait for it to get my attention in the future.

Either way, there's also Rayman Legends... I'm so sold on getting a Wii U...

Although not until at least 3 of the games I'm waiting for come out.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to more news about this crossover.

Edit: And I just saw the trailer of The Wonderful 101... that's already 6 games xD

... Damn... ... now I have a reason to crash at a friend's house and use their Wii U... But seriously this is a huge hit on my 'won't stop hatin on the Wii U till a good Star Fox with online multiplayer' stance ><. Still, might as well keep an eye on this title, and hope... dunno what I'm hoping for but hey hope is good.
