SHOULD THEY STOP MAKING MEGA MAN?
Do you think that Capcom needs to stop making mega man games?

There are arguments on both sides of this, because Mega Man has been around so long.
For it, you could say that Mega Man has grown boring ( Mega Man ZX Advent sucked, let's
face it. ) But against the stop of production, you could say that the storylines aren't complete yet, and that A lot OF PEOPLE like Megaman.
I think they should keep going, but Starforce and ZX have been beating a dead horse,
and they need better ideas.

Well they should continue the ZX series cause the ending of ZXA was unclear. Master Thomas becomes evil, biometal zero didnt kill off the the other biometals, etc. Well thats what I think.

They really need better and more creative ideas, that's all. I for one think that the Megaman series is a classic and it's here to stay.
What they should do is bring back the butt-rape from the old days where you had to dodge almost every attack from getting your life drained in a couple of shots (or even one shot!).

They don't need to stop, just make better games. Starforce is less than a megaman game, though I did enjoy the first few battle network installations. ZX is bred from arguably the hardest and most unforgiving megaman game since the nes, which would be Zero.
I think it's time for a new direction, something hard that'll make you want to throw your system around like before. Megaman 9 was a nice start, but there needs to be a lot more in that direction.
Also, MEGAMAN LEGENDS 3!!! and more megaman x plz thanx

I'd have to say yes. There is just no video game series that I can think of that should last this long. No amount of revamping or updating is going to make it (to me) any less of an average, old video game series. Some things just need to die out.

at least megaman is actually fun and capcom isn't feeding a dead child unlike sega and their sonic.

I've only played like the original Sonic and a couple of Megaman games myself. I'm just not a nostalgic person. I don't want to keep seeing the same game over and over again. I'd rather Capcom forget about Megaman and bring something else entirely.
I mean I love the Breath of Fire series, but I'm not begging Capcom to make another Breath of Fire game. I'd rather them start something else that could potentially be better than Breath of Fire and Megaman.
