Tales of Graces F confirmed for the West

I would like to thank Fakkufun7 for giving out info that Tales of Graces F will be released sometime in 2012 in the U.S.
Info Site:namcobandaigames.com
But it might be possible the release date may be moved back, or further, just like in the case of Tales of the abyss for 3DS, w/c was moved a month later for the Japanese release.

News are reporting that the english port of the game has just been fully completed. At best, we can expect the game to be released early 2012.

This game is out on English and I already have it.
I'm still at the beginning but my first impression is that it's a little confusing. This is probably because I am used to the Tales of the Abyss gameplay which was also used in Tales of Vesperia which I played directly before this. I am still struggling on gameplay but I think this type of fighting mechanic might actually be better when you get used to it.
What disappoints me the most is the dubbing. They did not allow an option to change the language to Japanese, so now you have characters speaking horrible English with English subtitles on the bottom.
Graphics wise, well it's an improvement. The characters all look lovable and it's easy to get intimate with them if not for their horrible dubs. This is the first Tales game I played where I actually started off as a 12 years old kid which I would say is a good change. I kind of wished that they stopped with the 'good looking final boss' formula which they carried from Vesperia. From the intro movie you can easily spot the main antagonist who easily looks like the antagonist from Vesperia only with blonde hair. But as I said, I'm just starting, it still promises to be much better than it is now.

I was wondering has anyone played it yet? I'm debating on getting it between this and dark souls. It depends. Graces F and Dark Souls are both fantastic games but they're obviously very different from each other. Depends if your in the mood for a more colorful, love and freindship-y kind of game or a darker, more brutal game. Graces f's voice acting is very "meh" but its definitely passable. It has a very fun combat system but it takes some time to get used to. Dark Souls is pure awesomeness but can be very challenging. Overall they're both excellent games though.

I received this game as a Christmas present but didn't play it until I got back to my dorm (where the PS3 is located). I've been playing this game in my free time between and after classes and have already logged close to 60 hours (if not more) on my first play through alone. I like to manually control either Asbel or Sophie, but figuring out how to play every character decently is really rewarding, especially for the arena area.
I will agree that the CC system is a bit awkward, even after having played through a majority of the game. I suppose it's a way to severely limit your potential to perform infinite combos (or even move around the battle field) as easily as in previous Tales of... games (I'm looking at you Vesperia). With that said, it's not entirely unwieldy, though I still much prefer Abyss's or Vesperia's battle system.
I haven't finished the main story yet, but I'm really looking forward to it as well as the added content for the PS3 release.

I recently gotten into this game after having it so long and I think it's a great addition to the Tales of series, with it's combat system, although alot of people here prefer Tales of Abyss battle system than most. Note this is my first JRPG for the PS3, so I hope to clock in some good time into this game's worth.
As for the characters, Asbel, Sophie, Cheria and Malik are my favorites and are instantly likable, but good God, Pascal is just..TOO...DAMN...CUTE! Best, bubbly Tales of caster since Tales of Legendia's Norma.
