Visual Novels or H-Games

I know there are a couple threads out there with good suggestions, but there is no genre distinguishment.
The type of games I'm looking for are ones with lots of drama, good storly-lines, heavy on romance and/or good H-scenes.
I can't read Japanese so they must be English. XD

Too bad you can't read Japanese, there are a lot of great visual novels out there still in Japanese. For starters try to listen and memorize the sound and the word and letters.
Here some from my personal collection, some of them are purely translated, some of them need a translation patch.
Nice Tsukasa Avatar :D

Yeah, I unlucky to have been born just 100 miles away from Japan. :'( There are many games I want to play that have no patch. (including your dreaded Cartagra)
Thanks for the Recommendations. My friend actually just got the Clannad and Patch so he's going to hook me up with those. Thanks for noticing the avi, I like it better than my old one. XD

Cartagra again.... (Shrugs...) :D
(I still have both their CG sets, Cartagra and Pianissmo -_-;;)
At first I can't read'em too, but I forced myself to play it, use my simple method, and watch many anime.
And I've studied the basic Japanese for 3 years, so it's pretty easy right now, except The thousands of Kanji Ketters.
Oh yeah, try using ATLAS and AGTH to play them.
:D
And don't worry, I'll be posting a lot in this section.

If you're looking for romance/drama Visual Novels, i'd reccomend Heart de Roommate and Tottemo Pheromone, mainly the last one. I've posted a Quick Review about it in the "Recommend a Good H-Game (Updated Periodically)" Section... The games are in english and i've posted a download link there (not .torrent)

I will try your suggestion of ATLAS and AGTH, since I REALLY want to play Cartagra and PP - Pianissmo.

Hmmm, I actually heard about Heart de Roommate being a drama visual novel and was meaning to check it out anyway. Now I will probably get it for sure, now.
Damn, I really wish I can read japanese...
