What are your favorite anime styled fighting games?

Anime inspired/spin-off fighting games have been around since the early 90's with the Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden series on the Super Famicom (as far as I know, feel free to correct me if there is an earlier example).
With so many different anime fighters on the market I was wondering which one seems to be a favorite among fighting fans!
Personally speaking, the 'Guilty Gear' and 'PERSONA 4 Arena' games are the ones I find myself playing the most, but I think I'll narrow it down a bit to last gen, current gen, and handhelds (PSP/Vita and DS/3DS respectively)
-Last Gen (PS3, XB360, Wii, PC):
PERSONA 4 Arena Ultimax, Arcana Heart 3 Love Max!!!
-Current Gen (PS4, XB1, Wii-U, PC):
Blazblue Chrono Phantasma Extend, Guilty Gear Xrd -sign-
-Sony Handhelds (PSP/Vita):
Guilty Gear XX, Blazblue Calamity Trigger
-Nintendo Handhelds (DS/3DS):
Bleach Blades of Fate, DBZ Extreme Botuden
(Note: I would have included Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Tekken, KoF, or DoA on this list, but they don't really fit the bill of 'anime'.)
So what are your favorite anime fighters? Add to the conversation!

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's Portable: The Gears of Destiny is a pretty enjoyable game. It's on the PSP. Simple controls and AI that love doing counters. Being in Japanese doesn't matter due to how simple the controls are and with the exception of the story dialogue, most of the menus are in English anyways. I've started playing it again recently.

Not my fault you don't know what a fighting game is or that there are sub-genres within it. Just because it isn't being played at EVO doesn't mean it's not a fighting game.

You're right, EVO already has two games that aren't fighting games on their annual lineup.

If you're talking about Super Smash Bros, that's debatable. The creator see's it as a party game, but the hardcore fans have turned it into a competitive fighter so there are two ways of seeing that series tbh.

Xrd Rev 2, Nitroplus BlasterZ Heroines, a game on PC which...from my understanding is supposed to get a PS4 port some time soon unless they already got one. Skullgirls, Koihime Enbu, and Melty Blood.

Valkyrie Drive is pretty good, it's made by the creators of Senran Kagura. There's loads of hack n slash, yuri, wardrobe customization, groping, and cool transformations.
