I know, I know... I shouldn't compare, yet i have to (curiosity).
Keep it civil (as much as you can)
As for me i have a fealing that DA:I will dissapoint tremendously(wont go into details), and i already preordered Witcher :D so i dont want to be wrong with my investment.
Witcher seems to be better al around from the gameplay videos. And so far RedLight didnt make big flops(cough, DAII, cough). I dont hate the DA series, im in love with DA:O, for me its one of the best games i have ever played.
Oh, and also feel free to elaborate your choice.

Frankly, I haven't been following with the development of DA:I, and I haven't even bothered to look at the Witcher's direction at all. But I can tell you this, Bioware has definitely dropped the ball ever sense they joined EA, and they will never again make a game with as good as quality as they did with Dragon Ag:O and Mass Effect(1).
I saw some gameplay from DA:I, and they have done too much to make it into an actiony hack-n-slash, and seemed to abandon any and all RPG combat elements, while still trying to retain Dragon Age RPG combat mechanics. From what it looks like, you just mash your abilities while dodging attacks, and while it may be good for a new IP, it's fucking blasphemy with a game that is "meant" to be an RPG.

I stick around tumblr too much, so my perception of DA:I is colored entirely by how its a glorified dating sim that people constantly reblog about.
I suspect Witcher 3 will just grow a coarse beard of white on my nuts while I ride off into the massive countryside.

Anyone who knows anything about the current video game industry knows that Bioware is a fucking shit show right now. They haven't been the same since EA bought them out.
DA:I looks terrible. The animations are janky and rough; fight scenes look like shit out of power-rangers. Every character is so shiny it seems like they've been dipped in some kind of oil. And last but certainly not least, the story seems like a progressive cliche ridden mess. Coming from the train-wreck that was DA:2 I can't see this being anything but more of the same.
The Witcher 3 looks better, sounds better, and most certainly plays better. It comes from a better lineage than Dragon Age, and a higher caliber of studio. CDprojecktred did fantastic work on The Witcher 2 and 1 and will certainly do more of the same on 3. Bioware hasn't been good since the early 2000's and Dragon Age has never been among their best works.

The Grey Knight :y
Not really following either project that heavily, but when it comes down to it, I'd definitely go for Witcher before Dragon Age (really not trusting Bioware anymore, after what happened with DA2 and ME3).
[size=10]Though I'm mainly hoping for Witcher 3 to drop soon so CDProjekt Red can get to work on Cyberpunk 2077.[/h]

Going to say Dragon Age Inquistion because I will probably continue playing Dragon Age, as for Witcher 3 I didn't choose it not because I didn't think it wasn't good but more so my interest in each of the games decreased as each one was played through, so I'll probably play it, but probably after it's been released, price reduced, and I have went through Dragon Age.

From what I've heard Bioware is pretty much the new Rare
As in as soon as they get bought out by a large company they drop the ball and become shit.
Both companies were known for their fantastic games and seemed to just pump out games with not just great graphics but excellent gameplay as well. Then they get bought by a massive company. Then they start pandering to certain people and slowly may fade into obscurity. I completely forgot that Rare even existed after Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
