Why are NPC's so damn defiant and annoying.

Take Assassin's Creed 3 for example. You know when you tried to do the Encyclopedia of The Common Man challenge, but never completed it because the NPC's never did anything they were supposed to do.The game is pretty much trying to tell you,”FTW I just don't care,go fuck yourself.”
Or how about when of your AI controlled teammates, that is not supposed to die, runs out into the battlefield and commits suicide. And then do something really challenging all over again.
Its happened to all of us because I just know. But the annoying factor is a hole other story. For example a character that follows you around with no task what so ever. And makes weird noises every five seconds. His face alone just makes you want to punch the crap out of until there's nothing left but a bloody mess.

I find your lack of spaces after punctuation defiant and annoying.
Try to understand what goes into artificial intelligence and see how touch and go it is depending on what it's trying to achieve. As necessary complexity increases to induce realism, the number of faults it can run into goes up as well.
Also, if we're using Assassins Creed as an example, there's plenty more bugs in the entire series to enjoy besides buggy ai [see motdef].

At least there was a way around not having to deal with sticky's bullshit on the way to big town in fallout 3. You just needed to find big town and then fast travel to it from little lamplight.
