NOT the regional settings. The Non-Unicode one. Tell me, have you set that to Japanese?

Yes! I'm using applecase for that. I know that it's working cause I've been using it for quite some time on some games like "men at work".

This is just a little hunch I have, but I think you MEANT APPLOCALE!! NOT APPLECASE!!!!

Either way, that won't work on at least 40% of Japanese games. Go to Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, AND SET NON-UNICODE SETTINGS TO JAPANESE. Applocale only works for 60% of Jap games. Set NON-UNICODE settings to Jap, then report again.

Got it! It's this pic. Change that option there until you have what I have. You must set it to Jap.

I cannot gat this to run in Vista any ideas

The .exe stops working right after i click on it.

Vista has it's own language settings or unicode settings thingy. I don't know what it is since I don't use vista. But once you find that setting, it should be no problem.
