Here's a nice little tale for all of you here.

Basically, it's a one-shot love story roughly composed and made in just three hours, enjoy xD

BTW.

Credit goes to Rakan-han and Nate Rivers for making this nice, little one-shot =D

A Tale of Melodies

By:

Nate Rivers

Rakan-han

July's wind gently brushed along the quiet dandelions, leaving but hollow stalks. She sat motionlessly in the middle of the prairie. The sounds of the melody had already faded away.

A faint ray of sunlight leaked though her curtains as she stepped out the bed to take a little stroll. Following the narrow trail behind the backyard, she stopped at her usual spot, beside the shadows of a vine maple tree. There, she dreamed about the countless love stories that she had read, hoping that one day she could experience a true tale of romance.

A soft tone of violin drifts into her state of tranquility, interrupting the girl's fantasy. Driven by curiosity, she stood up and quickly scouted her surroundings, only to find a boy in the near distance composing the harmonic melody. Her heart fondled with excitement as she unconsciously stepped closer to the boy, intoxicated by the sonance.

Suddenly the melody ceases, snapping the girl out of her trance. He became well aware of her presence. She cloaked her desire with nervousness, mingling with a hint of elegance and delicacy. The boy dazzled with a sense of refinement and handsomeness, slowly put down his violin. She gradually rose her head from embarrassment. Her eyes locked with his.

"I..." She spoke tenderly "Did I startle you? I'm sorry"

"No, not at all" He quickly replied "I was just, I didn't think anyone was here besides me"

"Oh, I didn't know either" She responded "It was..., it was beautiful"

"I'm glad” The boy said

“Should I keep playing?” He suggested

“By all means, I would love to hear it again” The girl smiled

He laid the violin firmly on the shoulder, his eyes closed, his fingers on the strings, his arm shifted back. The soothing vibrations drew upon the euphoric melody. She quietly shut her eyes, no longer dreaming.

July's bitter breeze brushed through her hair. She stood frigidly in the middle of the prairie. The sounds of that melody had once again began to emerge.
