Tried it, but its looks like windows 7 to me with apple's screen functions(if you can get a touchable screen). Overall, I wasn't impressed so I'll stick to windows 7 or Vista.

Not really, if you have a dishwasher or washing machine you just need to buy cap washer and run it on the lowest cycle you have for your washing machine. Pop it out and dry it.
