Well today we are going to be starting something very cool. As you can see there is an attractive anime female to the right of this text. Now you may know who she is or what anime she is from, but before you go look up her age you should take a guess. Why? Because you will probably be wrong.
If everyone thinks this is a cool idea I will continue doing this everyday. And the layout on this first one will probably be messed up until I figure out a good way to present this. And the image bars are not working (probably for the same reason the image section isn't working). Also in the works is a female character battle contest (rip off of GameFAQs) where you will be able to vote on different females as they progress through tournament ranks.

I'm in the same position, I want to learn Japanese for fun. I am thinking of sitting in on Japanese class at a nearby college (not getting any credit) just to learn.
My girlfriend and I used to watch it every week but now it's all about Lost and Heroes. and The Office.

Just so everyone knows I have been staying out of this conversation so that I wouldn't influence the discussion. But everyone has been doing an awesome job contributing their opinions and I would like to thank each of you.
Obviously we can't say "If the girl in the manga is under 18, we can't host it." We all now that 90% of all female anime characters are between 14 - 17.
So what I am thinking will end up happening is, if in the actual manga (this only pertains to English ones) the character says something about their age being 11 or something, then we won't host it. And for Japanese ones we can be more lenient but obviously if the characters are blatantly lolicon material then I may step in.
BUT I don't think anyone has posted any solid laws against this or examples of sites getting shut down explicitly for this kind of stuff. So if anyone can do some research that will greatly affect the outcome.
