Carry lots of whetstones. Or get sharpness skill (not handicraft which gives +1 sharpness,still great to get).
Gunlance differs greatly on shots and usage:
Single shot:
Wide>Long>Normal
Full Burst:
Normal>Long>Wide
Charged shot:
Wide>Long>Normal
Wyvern's Fire:
Long>Wide>Normal
You can reload after evasion or after every single shot/charged shot.
Destroyer with gunlance breaks alot of monster parts easily. Feels satisfatcion mang.

Guess I have to play it again. Not sure if I continue my close to max level monk or go with something else, like a crusader. Crusaders in particular seemed really underplayed even though they're supposed to be the best class in the game.People love their strikers, monks, rangers, grapplers, soul benders, battle mages, launchers, blade masters etc etc.
FACT: Crusaders can't flurry punch like Justice can.
