I am eating my breakfast which consists of oatmeal and coffee, listening to Tool, creating a WordDoc to write down what bills I need to pay when I get paid on the 10th, and skimming through "The Kite Runner" which someone suggested to me as a read and which I'm really trying my very best to get into.
I really enjoy playing chess and rummy with my friend. It makes me feel so much better and less alone.
Living on my own independently working at a job, paying rent, paying bills, and not having anyone to support me.
Rofl Pump! Those pictures are epic! +1 for sure. and ColuSeven I love the giraffe, I have one a lot like it but it's a mini pillow-pet
AAAAND I bought a really bright green sweater. It's the only pastel article of clothing I have but god damn it, every time I wear it it puts me in a good mood. Green Sweater Club ftw >.>

This is a serious issue that's going on in my workplace that I wanted to ask for opinions and advice on. I am currently the only girl in my workplace, everyone in my workplace hates and dislikes me. I've heard through managers and other coworkers that when I am not there at work they will talk crap and say nasty things about me. Which is fine it hasn't really bothered me too much. Lately they've been bothering me, coming into my department making their jokes. My manager in the past has tried to do damage control and get them to stop acting the way that they do but they've switched to only doing it when he's not around.
I talked with him today requesting a transfer because I simply do not enjoy coming into work anymore. I feel like I cannot do my job adequately while working with my coworkers. I mentioned part of what is going on. He said he would consult people about it. After he left one of the managers on duty and 3 other coworkers were trash-talking the new hire. Apparently they had tried to make their stupid sexist jokes around him and he was uncomfortable and told them to not make those jokes around him. They were in the back calling him a "faggot" and so on. Then the manager on duty started trash talking our Ops Manager saying that he's a pervert and tries to sleep with every female worker we hire and that's why we can't hire female workers anymore.
First of all I'm female and have no idea what they're going on about. But I find it really rude to make accusations like that of someone when they're not around. The problem is that this goes on ALL THE TIME and it goes on worse when I'm not in earshot. It's gotten to be an issue where my boss can't hire female workers because the men at work don't know how to be polite. I'm going to talk with my manager again and try and get him some hardcore proof of all of this. Because I just can't look the other way and pretend I don't hear all this and that it doesn't bother me. It's just not alright, no workplace should have this level of disrespect for the people that work there. If you're going to talk your crap do it off the clock... and definitely don't do it if you're a manager. You should be setting an EXAMPLE for the people you manage.
What are your opinions? What do you think I should do in this situation?

Not really insignificant, but a bunch of my coworkers were talking shit about the new hire calling him a "faggot" which I think was a little over the line. Then one of the managers on duty was talking shit about another one of my bosses saying that he's basically a pervert and tries to have sex with every female worker we have on staff.
I wanted to literally punch him in the face. There's a line between joking around and being just plain disrespectful to people who don't deserve it.

Re-merched the entire String wall with new price tags. My coworkers can suck it if they think I don't do anything all day >.
Call me crazy but, Game of Thrones really would be a cool games as long as it was done CORRECTLY. Like if it was a massive online RPG game where you could build and grow your houses (like you could marry between houses, have children, etc). So kind of like a mix between Skyrim, Fable, etc etc.
I'd literally pay money to play it as long as it was done right.

I am trying to expand my comfort level as far as social networking both in person and online. If anyone wants to add me on FB send me a message! :D
Chatting with a neat customer today. The cool thing about music is networking, and I'm very good at networking.
Bright green jacket, comfortable jeans, my Mario wearing Bowser as a skin while eating shrooms shirt, black socks, black shoes with red laces, black bra, white striped underwear. I will soon be wearing a blue Guitar Center shirt with my lanyard nametag of awesome over that.
My bright green jacket is awesome. I also really need to stop having this weird jacket-collecting tick I apparently have because I have a green jacket, a Tripp buckle jacket, a Misfits jacket, a Creed jacket, a black and white flannel jacket, a biker jacket... >.> it goes on and on and on
Goodwill, got a brand new black t-shirt that has Mario wearing a dead Bowser as a skin (epically brutal) was $1.35, a bright green summer jacket with a white zipper (it looks very good with my skin tone) was $1.90, and a book "The Kite Runner" which I've never read but thought it'd be cool to check out was 0.85 cents
