Sorry to see you go, etc. Time for me to step in.
I really have no idea what any of you are going on about. Members are members, and staff are staff. Staff are trustworthy people that have a job that they need to do. Just because they don't have an overwhelming presence on the forums or what have you doesn't mean they aren't right for the job.

Yeah, I'm sure Jacob knows what he is doing and fully trusts who he chooses to be staff, but I don't like how it is just sprung on the forum community (can't speak for what goes on with Skype/IRC) without discussing it with the members first.
Why would Jacob discuss who
he should pick for moderators with the members? That makes absolutely no sense. That's like if I owned a company and asked the workers if I should hire a supervisor and if it was okay with them.
As "out of the blue" as it may seem to you, we are constantly talking about things such as this. But like I stated earlier, why would you know about it? These are our decisions, not yours. We put lots of thought into things, especially mod decisions.
Gugu, you honestly make me laugh and will probably make Waar laugh when he reads that.
How do you think Jacob became our friend? He didn't suddenly say, "Hey, you guys are my friends and now you are mods." Maybe you should stop trying to be such a rebel and wanting to break the rules and just be a cool guy, which you can be.
Not only that, half of the mods I don't speak to on a daily basis, hell, even weekly. Do I consider all the mods my friends? Yes, I do. But some are a lot closer than others. Do I tell Waar to fuck off when he makes bad decisions? You can bet your ass I do. Jacob does the
SAME EXACT THING. You really need to stop thinking you have things figured out when you don't.
tl;dr : We know what we are doing. We put thoughts into our decisions. We are the staff, not you.
