Too lazy to chase them; I'll eat tuna instead. Tuna doesn't flutter about, being annoying. XD
One day to go on the poll and Freaky and Thanielle are currently tied. Who will win? Will we have another exciting tie this month? Vote now!

Those ballerina flats do look cute, but unfortunately, if a shoe is super duper flat, it tends to hurt my feet more. Maybe I just haven't found the right pair that works with my feet, but for me, flat shoes are just for ballet/jazz dancing, and that's it. I need a slight heel and/or better arch support for everything else.

alcohol?!does it still qualify as alcohol if you cook it and it loses its alcohol content?
Of course! As long as some type of alcohol was used as an ingredient, even if it's burned off in cooking, it's all good.

ALCOHOL!!!!
Break open your liquor cabinets, everyone! Let's get drunk those rich wine, liquor, and/or liqueur flavors in the dishes this month. Flambé on!
Just remember, don't drink and derive.
Again, here are the rules:
Contest officially starts now and ends 00:00 PST (GMT-8) on June 1, 2012. No entries will be accepted after that time. Voting starts whenever I wake up on that day and will last for five days, after which we will announce the winner. Winner gets mad props, rep from me (and from others?) and the chance to choose the month after next's theme.

Last minute entry, lol. This is my dessert tonight.
Riz au Chocolat is just a fancy way of saying chocolate rice pudding. This was a breakfast staple in my house when I was a child because it's so easy and simple to make, aside from the CONSTANT VIGILANCE!!!(TM) required for the boiling milk. As I grew older, however, I kept reducing the sugar content and adding more bitter stuff like dark chocolate and coffee to this recipe.
On to the recipe! This serves about 2 people.

Tada! Chocolate pudding.

Coke does make for a good meat marinade. I usually put it in chicken marinades, though.
And mmm, ginger green tea pudding...THAT I will definitely try out. I totally want some now.

The pork looks so good! Cocoa in pasta seems a bit weird to me, but my adventurous palate demands that I try it next time I make a sauce. Possibly this weekend.
