I feel 'ya, Circe-puu. Fall is just a busy time, especially for students and those working in related fields. I'm super busy as well, and it doesn't help that on Saturday I probably stepped through some plants that I'm probably allergic to--I've had hives for 4 days now, aaaargh!
I write in a horrible, illegible chicken-scratch. Like doctors' handwriting, except even pharmacists can't read my shit. If I make an effort, I can make it pretty, but I usually don't care enough.

Sexism/homophobia/racism. If guys can't treat me with respect and equality, then I just can't date them or even be friends with them. Same goes for girls, really...and if they're also blatantly anti-feminist, then I REALLY can't interact with them for too long, because I just end up wanting to throttle them and hitting them with my (thick, heavy) feminism 101 books.

I tried to plan a Roscoe's meetup one time, but that sorta fell through. Or maybe a Little Toyko meetup is better? In any case well, the next closest con is Long Beach Comic Con...not sure if I'm going there yet, but some of my friends are.

I'm a really loud screamer (singer's/swimmer's lungs, yay) so I'm afraid to go somewhere and scream. I'd probably get the police called for disturbing the peace or because of some concerned citizen thinking I was being raped or something. =/

Lol, as someone who used to study there and still visits on occasion, I know there are two shops you can go to that are sort of close. One is Hustler on Sunset Blvd. (near Sunset/San Vicente) and the other is The Pleasure Chest on Santa Monica (Santa Monica/Genessee) blvd. The Pleasure Chest is somewhat classier, but Hustler is more accessible. Either way, you can take the Metro 2 bus to get there.
