What about Michael Jackson predecessor? The King had the first music video that was considered to be as big a thing as "Thriller" was in its time:

The prez said during his press confernce of legalinzing stem cell research when a reporter asked him if this new policy is a change of direction from morals and ethics towards basing policies off of scientific facts. Obama said no, that every decsion and law must have moral and human values considered. I agree completely with him.Morals are the basis of our laws, we use facts to support our laws not dictate them.
It is not the governments place, duty or creed to dictate morality to the people. The government's job is to provide courts in enact laws to protect us from criminal acts (Force,Fraud, etc) and protect us from unsafe conditions (OSHA), to provide cops to enforce those laws (and jails/prisons to incarcerate violators) and the military to protect the sovereignty of the country.
Ethics and morality should be practiced but, not mandated to us by government officials.
I understand what you are trying to say, but again I disagree. In america (and other countries as well) our laws are made by officals, who decide punishments and laws based off social customs and morals. However, these laws are not focibly dictated to us by the government because we choose our government officals - thereby we choose the laws. Ergo, we are choosing which morals to live by in our society.

I'm never surprised that it's always the people without rep are saying that rep is useless. It's a major motivation to people who do things for the community, especially user uploads. It's quite disappointing that most people who post in the request section never even use the rep system. If they did, Teclo would have well over a few hundred reps by now (seriously, he deserves way more than what he has now)
Agreed, actually he may of helped me once or twice without me getting around to repping he when I had the chance.
PLUS: on the topic of RBZ I say we do not discuss it as nobody here knows the facts and it is a matter between the two of them. Discussion will only lead to flaming and a one side looking like an ass when the truth comes to light.
The only "anime" theme park I could forsee is a shonen jump theme park. They have the most famous characters and largest amount of characters. There is now way that other companies would just lend their characters out.
But seeing as how this is in IB, I suppose on a less serious note: I want a One Piece pirate ship ride and a Gundam similutor where I actually destory some of the park. Also a haunted house where shingami follow you to try to write your name in their notebooks.

Well there is nothing wrong with being a bon jovi fan, it is just that today he is considered to of had more flash than talent. Also I didn't assume you were japanese, that last part of my post was kind of off topic :D

Does anyone else honestly agree with me that the rep system should be removed. Its too easy to exploit and just dumb.Respectfully, no. Rep shows something different than a post count does or title does. Take Klown for instance, the massive amount of rep klown has shows that he is more than a person who uploads or post a lot. It shows that KLown is a HIGHLY respected member who contributes GREATLY to this site, and those contributions are of high quality.
I find it funny that everyone accuses each other of caring so much about rep points though. There really isn't anyone that makes a HUGE deal about it, and those small amount of complainers shouldn't invaildate a good system.

the only one band i admire a lot from america is bon jovi... i dunno about the others...This makes me laugh. Not at you personally kamillebidan, it is just that bon jovi has a reputation for being a musican with no talent, just one that has style. So it is sad in a way that bon jovi, out of all the other american artist, is the one to be liked by a foreigner. It looks bad on the american music scene.
I know for a fact that japanese teens go orgasmic over likin park though - and as an american teen I once did too.
American music has awesome guitar solos

I looked at an explosion once. I was picked on by all the other guys at work for not being cool afterwards.

And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-

O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
Basically, what makes your "real life" socializing anymore real than your internet socializing?
One of the problems is a person in extreme pain wanting to end there life usaully isn't considered sane enough to consent to assisted suicide - and it isn't like they are going to ask someone else for you. Not unless you are on life support in a brain dead state.

I don't think you're a troll Waar, I haven't been here as long as some, but to me a Troll is someone who brings nothing worth noting forward, and only tries to piss people off... It's an entirely different story when you are opinionated and that pisses people off...Jesus christ people, not everyone who holds an opposite view to you is "trolling" you. This is so silly, really.
You said it.
@Yorozuya: Either way, I don't believe Waar said that you were a troll, and you aren't a troll in my book. And if he did, either he mistyped it or he showed a lack of judgment that he is usually capable of, which I don't think is the case. Sooo, let bygones be bygones.
I endorse both of these post. Just because someone is curt with you or is opinionated, they are not trolls. I really don't think we have a problem of trolls on this forum - only a problem of a troll witch-hunt. (troll-hunt?)
                        Come, you spirits
That tend on mortal thoughts! unsex me here,
And fill me from the crown to the toe, top-full
Of direst cruelty; make thick my blood,
Stop up the access and passage to remorse,
That no compunctious visitings of nature
Shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between
The effect and it! Come to my woman's breasts,
And take my milk for gall, you murdering ministers,
Wherever in your sightless substances
You wait on nature's mischief!
