I suppose general knowledge would be information that one requires no background information or prior knowledge on or of the subject in order to comprehend the information.

General knowledge is anything experienced in ordinary life, not something that has to be studied or experimented.

I fear many men can't get with girls because subconsciously they think all the attractive girls are better then them, and they then become afraid of rejection. Are you referring to Code Geass? because if you're saying that rape/killing/rampages would be a better alternative then of course I disagree. But I still believe that there are other alternatives. I think a thread asking people what they think would of been better would certainly show several good alternatives. Code Geass is a dark show, that is why they changed it's air time to a later time in Japan, but that isn't the point I wanted to make. I don't think they are ment to be incredibly plot driven as nothing major can happen that will effect the main story line. I think this is more of just something fun to watch, naruto characters just doing the missions that they do. But I agree that a more complex plot would be apperciated.

Clannad is made by Key, and so anything done by them has supernatural elements to the story. Fuuko as a ghost is a little wierd at first, but it ties in so very nicely with the rest of the story. There will be more supernatural parts as it is important to the story, so as long as your prepared for that then I think you'll like it. I didn't expect it at first and it turned me away, but once I got the fact that there are spirtual powers at work Clannad became my favorite anime. I implore you to finish Clannad so you can watch Clannad After Story as well.

I don't get why people think Clannad was bad in regards to couples who deserve better. Yeah it was sad, but then the show pulled up out of it's nose dive of being drepressing at the very end.

Code Geass

Nothing is free, and especially nothing worth having. Humans desires are insatible, we can never reach a point where we will be forever "satisfied". So someone is always going to have to toil, because you'll always want more. Not always out of greed, maybe you want to give something to someone or prove something to yourself or even just because your bored. But because we don't know what perfection is, and yet we always will try to continue to walk towards it, we work because we can be happier. Even if your already happy, it will either fade or you'll realize you can be even happier than you already are. So somebody will work, and others will desire the fruits of their work. But they aren't going to get it for free.

If this wasn't inate human behavior, we would of died out long ago from not giving a crap whether or not we became better and grew.

You know why you can't talk to her? Because your scared of saying something stupid that will ruin your chances of her liking you. Before you can talk to a girl you have to realize that if things don't go great, so what? If your scared of messing up, a girl will be able to tell your nervous - and nervousness is a huge sign that your DESPERATE.

If you want to start a conversation, first pick out something about her or that is going on around her or in the room that you can talk about. Do this FIRST, BEFORE YOU GO UP TO HER TO TALK. Any little thing will do. THEN talk to her, and have fun, tease her about something you picked up on - like her giant polka doted purse, or about they way she was doing something - like reading something really intensely to the point she was going to burn a hole through the paper with her stare. OR you can talk to her about other people in the room, people watch and pick out little things that are amusing.

Then throw in some self-depricating humor so you don't seem like a dick and that is about it.
Above all though, have confidence - and know that she isn't better then you, so why put the pussy on a pedestal?

I find you just need to get your adrenaline going - so however you want to do that is a good way to stay awake. I remember after seeing Transformers 2 with only my two friends and me in the entire theater (we had hook-ups so we watched the movie when the theater was closed), the volume was up extra loud and seeing Optimus Prime rip a dude's face of got me pumped. I didn't go to sleep for like another 8 hours.
I heard the British have made a "stay awake" pill for their Spec Ops teams though. Maybe one of those pills could keep you up...

Yeah, fiery penguin is right. Actually, companies in america do that to SOME extent. When you take a personality quiz on an application, they see what kind of personality you have and if you fit in with there company mentality. Japanese are just a bit odd in regards to that they think blood type plays a part of that - it more on the level of horoscopes though.
