It'd make a hell of a lot of problems for young women being coerced into marriages.
But I see your point, it makes me wonder what they do for immigrants trying to move to america that have more then one wife..

I wont disregard what you say because of your avatar, king. I'll just pretend that "x" is your avatar.BTW you went deep sea fishing right? or did you catch all that at some inlet?

They'd be a REEAALLYY productive 30 years. Plus, Aze would get a job as rockstar, since aze MASTERED the guitar. Music is never obsolete.

Well dante I think the point of religion is faith, so it doesn't really make sense to try to prove it with science. But if you can't accept something by faith, then you'd just have to agree to disagree. Because science and religion are different games, one is faith and one is data.
But you don't have to disavow one or the other. You can just hope that if there is a god, they'll make a way for everyone to be in heaven. And if there isn't, that science can show us why we are here and what mankinds destiney is. Two different roads going the same way, towards the answer to the question "what is the purpose of my existence?"

FF7 hands down. If someone told me I'd have to give up playing video games if I wanted to play FF7, i'd still play it.

I getting mad playing Doom 3 because of all the creepy monsters jumping out at me, I just wanted to kill them all. Somewhere in the back of my head I must of thought that they'd leave me alone if I killed them all.

I'm really afraid of spiders too. It's not their size that freaks me out, I don't know what it is exactly but I think it's mostly because of their legs. And I hate some other insects and bugs too. You can chase me with them around the Earth xDI've stood next to someone who literally wanted to kill me, and I've be in a bunker while getting motars fired at me. But for some reason spiders still scare the shit outta me. I think if you wanted to mug me, you'd have a better chance pulling out a spider then a gun.

Whether you want to believe it is a miracle from God is on you though. In the context of Carthagianian's quote, that's what I meant.
Also, his post bothers me in that: Does it mean that a person who _doesn't_ get better simply isn't good enough in God's eyes?
I believe in God, but "if you do as He says, you'll get better" strikes me as hogwash. Bad things happen to good people (not that I take that as evidence that God doesn't exist), and quite a number of good people don't "get better".
Ah yes, the rain falls on the wheat and the weeds, the just and the unjust.
If your wife wanted ANOTHER husband... but TMS.... aren't you a girl..?

The reason it was allowed is because it was practical. Back then there were more women then men on account of men getting themselves killed in wars and working themselves to death. So instead of leaving a women to fend for herself, she could marry her sister's husband or another friends husband, as a way to provide for herself and have kids.
They still do it in some cultures today for the same reasons.

This is the conversation Adam had with God before the creation of Eve:Adam: God, I am lonely and bored. Please make me a companion.
God: I will make you a woman as a companion.
Adam: What will she be like?
God: She will cook and clean for you. She will not complain. She will not give you headaches. She will not make you miserable because she is. She will lay with you every night without complaint. She will make and clean your clothes. She will support and agree with your every decision. She will tell you that you are always right. She will never lie to you. She will not be unfaithful to you.
Adam: What will something like this cost me?
God: An arm and a leg.
Adam: What can I get for a rib?
HAHA! Darn you adam! you ruined it for us all!
A few seconds before I died, I would ride my dirt bike and ramp off into the Grand Canyon. As I fell I'd do 5 backflips while pulling off a 1080. And when I was out of site from the public, I'd release the 12 doves I was carrying, so to everyone else it'd look like I didn't die, but transformed into 12 doves.
The entire time, the ghost of Ronnie Van Zant would duet with his brother and the rest of Lynyrd Skynyrd to preform "Freebird". The song would match with my descent because I'd fall in slow motion. The opening line "If I leave here tomorrow would you still remember me?" would be repeated at the end of the song, and everyone would cheer because because the awesomeness of my stunt, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the laser show that'd be playing is just more awesome then human eyes can comprehend.
If you were there, I'd be like having sex with a diety while doing some crazy drug and drinking Redbull all at the same time.

Lesson Learned: One can never be away from Fakku forever. :eng101:Some members may take breaks every once in a while, but they eventually return (or so I think), though they may no longer be as active.
You talking about me again Gambler?
Not exactly, but now that you mentioned it, I guess you could fall into the above category too. :)
I was thinking along the lines of regular members whom I never got the opportunity to speak with before I became a member of Fakku. I am quite sure some of them continue to visit the site, perhaps as lurkers.
You make it sound like their spirits are watching over us.
Google it, I'm sure there has been someone cured of AIDs. I know a guy I work with who says he was healed of his HIV. I know he had HIV because he got kicked out of the military for it. But he says he doesn't have it anymore. There are alot of unexplained things like that that happen. Whether you want to believe it is a miracle from God is on you though.

When I see the name Clannad in a post or topic, I start to feel my emotions go into overdrive. It is a feeling of sadness and happiness that poureth over.
