Well, I heard you're liek supposed to do this when you ascend to the rank of the elites, so now I give you permission to congratulate me =DNot really. It's an optional thing that most people do. I never made an upgrade status thread myself but hijacked others. Never believed in glorifying post count because everyone here does it.
Oh no, I know the reclaim list wasn't my sole responsibility as it was directed at anyone in CR. I took the initiative, and M2991 was helpful enough to compile the list in spoiler text form. I give credit to where it's due. The thing was that I pioneered the Excel sheet for ease of reference and making it for public use. That was my brainchild, you know? But if Mibuchiha wants to make his life more grueling than it already is, he's welcome to it. I for one would never bother rewriting the list in terms of the first/last name basis because there's too many naming conventions used in anime/manga/games.
As for my behavior at the beginning, I think much of it was due to my personality as well as having a lack of rules in terms of making the list up. It was my first time taking a role like this, so difficulties were expected I suppose.

Lol, welcome to the world of oldfags. Gratz.i thought your only classed as a oldfag when you have been here for more than 1 year
I specifically think of it as more than 1 year on the forums on an active basis.
@GameON: you ought to be more subvertive than that.
@Zeph=3: Congratulations on making Elder, and I must say a record achievement unlike that of anyone else. I hope to see some activity and good posts from you in the main forums.

Lol, I'm loving this.I kept Akiko.
No, I don't think that's what the TC had in mind. This has nothing to do with RECLAIMED waifus, it's about waifus that others will have in mind for the first round.
This topic is so offtopic that I'm not going to even bother rerailing this thread.
@Waar: I'm not going to bother reupdating my list anymore. There's no point in having two people updating the same thing. I suppose it works in my favor because I do have a test and essay due at the beginning of next week.
The reason why I'm vexed (and not PO'ed) is that I had pride in the responsibility. Then for someone to take over your work and responsibility without consent is tantamount to usurption. I know bitching about it ain't going to work because what's done is done, and as you mentioned, anyone could jump in and help out. Still, I had to explain why I felt annoyed. I mean, this is the Waifu game. It's serious business.
As for the actual list, Naoto Shirogane is taking care of that without a doubt. I just talked to her in CR today and she's willing to resume responsibility, though it might be better if you talked to her first for confirmation.

And again, how many times do I have to repeat myself, saying, "Who would win?" is a bad topic title that is no more different than the other, "Who would win" threads.
I'd still say Sousuke wins. I know Heero has some good hand to hand combat and personal firearms skills, but I feel that Sousuke is far more versed in overall combat, as noted in Sousuke's war memories all the way back from Afghanistan.

@kaho17: got it, but whether or not I'm in charge of the waifu list is something else.
@mibuchiha: Or maybe you an I can consult Waar on this matter. If he says he doesn't care about the ordering of the names, then I'll resume updates. If he says he does care, then you'll resume updating. I personally don't see how the naming order matters since many names don't have a last name, and a lot of them are not "Japanese" but either made up names or Western names.
And page 19 is the most recent update of the list in spoiler form, page 16 for the list on Excel, fyi.

@PD: noticed I said "in my opinion". I consider it almost on a NGE-type level where it featured some ground-breaking conventions in anime, most notable the use of jazz music in its OST amongst other things. One of Sunrise's major anime hits, and I'd be more surprised if I asked an anime otaku if he/she knew about Infinite Ryvius and the person responds with a no.

That's why IB is still there (I'm not proposing to get rid of it), for the crap and the lulz. The main part of the forum is still there, and hopefully instead of searching through pages of threads through a trial and error basis, people will give up and post decently in real threads in real sections.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the two IB page rule is an awesome idea.

It would be better if I overted the control of the list to you, seeing how you're willing to change the Excel list. There's only two days left in the reclaim week too.
I don't think Waar made it exclusively known that I was taking care of the list with Naoto Shirogane, though his posts seemed to show it. And for this, I cannot fault you, Mibuchiha. However, it does annoy me a bit when you find all of your efforts have been replaced by someone else even if I had no prior official claim on said work. You know what I mean?

@mibuchiha: I read all posts in the threads I visit and post in.
Trust me, having common sense is a valuable trait amongst peers and coworkers. It seems like you're lacking some common sense if I have to tell you that, though.
Back on topic, being Tsundere I think is the fine line of being intelligent but not acting it in terms of emotions. I think many people find Tsundere especially moe, but in real life, I don't think people act tsun-tsun, if it happens at all.

@ShiaSpirit: I don't understand. I always took CR as a place to hang out and talk in real-time about FAKKU! and anything else. Did it serve any other purpose? I don't think CR is worth quitting.
@Waar & Ramsus: the convo is highly amusing and funny. I do hope it's playful banter.
I think this thread had an innocent purpose behind it. Users who want to premedidate who they want to claim with other users isn't a bad idea. And to promote this idea, I will post my top three waifus in my sights:
1. Lacus Clyne - Gundam SEED
2. Nanoha Takamichi - Magical Shoujo Girl Nanoha
3. Reverie Metherlance - Erementar Gerad
Fear not, I have about another two or three extra waifus on my backburner list, and if these three are in high demand, so be it unless someone wants to work with me.

I know quite a bit on the Japanese language through watching anime, but nowhere near enough to hold an intelligent or a basic day-to-day conversation. If I had to learn the Japanese language, I would act as if I never knew anything of the language except some of the customs. I take my classes seriously with the intent of passing with a high grade, weaboo/otaku or not.

Before I know it, it was already like this. So here is the waifu list, with all the japanese names written in the last first order, and western names in the usual first last order. Ah, this is based from g-money's list from this page. The list:
Spoiler:
So I hope any claims made after this will follow this format.
Wow, checking and correcting the names is much harder than I thought....
@sora-chan: For now, Konoka and Utau.
@mibuchiha: The line I bolded and made bigger is the exact reason why I didn't bother using it. And since this is Japanese-related material, the proper way would be to classify everyone by last name then first name without the comma, like "Ritona Yoko", not "Ritona, Yoko"
And I know you went through the effort of rewriting the list, but the problem is that I would have to revise my Excel sheet to accomodate the first/last name change, which I'm not going to do because it's a waste of time. I think we can use it for the spoiler mode, but the Excel sheets I make will not be in said format.
And if people are forgetting to post the series next to their waifus, what makes you think people would learn to post their waifu's names in the proper format? It makes me sigh like an old man.
I, however, want to set the record straight. If you want full responsibility of the Waifu Reclaim list, be my guest. As I mentioned before, this is a one-time stint to get Round 1 started on Sunday and not on Monday. I can't tell if your list is supposed to supplant what I've been doing or replace it, because I assumed Waar left me with the responsibility of maintaining and making of the list. You are beginning to act as if you were the main updater of the list in your last post, not the one I quoted. I mind it the sense that there's no need for two people to do the same job and collectively waste both of their time.
@kaho17: I couldn't tell if your post was a waifu nomination or not, and a name isn't proper format. So... just Silfa right?
@hermitVI: will do.
@geassmon: thanks for taking the time to post properly.
@Gambler: You want Harenji from To Love-Ru? I leave her alone for the first round because I've had my sights on her too.
@everyone else: after sifting through what are proper reclaims and garbage posts, I will post the updated list this Friday afternoon. Been studying for my cost accounting test for this morning.
@mwong04: Group, man, the group, as in either the Revy or Riza group are "fangasmic". Your "insult" was too vague and could be directed at anyone here, which was why I wanted further clarification.

More detailed demo impression:Spoiler:
With the Jockey, it's a Hunter that moves. I don't think FF is dealt when shooting the Jockey off, but I have heard that there is FF now. As for the Spitter, it takes time for the acid to spread, and after a second or so of spreading, the damage starts to pile in. I don't really use melee weapons, so I prefer to shoot her at a distance rather than closing in with a melee weapon. I have to agree that the Special Infected in my opinion (other than the Charger) were ill-conceived and useless in my opinion. A Hunter is more usefull in Versus because of its stunning pounce and deals more damage than a Jockey. I rather trade shots and get damaged by the shots to get the Jockey off than have a Hunter tearing my guts out. As for the Armored infeceted, shooting them point-blank won't stop them or make them stumble. Usually a melee is good and it falls to the ground, leaving it for a simple shot to side or back. In a horde rush, meleeing these suckers are key.
As for the melee weapons, you're right that they have huger radius of damage, but there are blind spots (within a certain range inside your damage radius) and sometimes the main attack will altogether miss the zombie, leaving you open for an attack from the normal zombie. I've seen it happen on the videos. And it won't kill the zombies in back of the one in front as a drawback no matter how close they are. There has to be a balance of melee and slashing for the melee weapon to be truly effective.
As for your impression that L4D2 is not really a stand-alone game, I totally agree.
