It sure didn't seem to me like she won like she intended. The ending was ultimately positive for her, but hands down, he won her over rather than her winning him over. It's just that he liked her enough by the end that he decided that he wanted to keep her, so he let her make him her shikigami so that he could travel with her as a human. So, she sort of won, but given how she was acting at the end (and throughout), I don't buy for a second that any of that was her plan. She planned for him to drink the sake and lose that way, and barring that, she would dominate him sexually. She utterly failed at both.
The one that I'd really like to see continued is The Parasite Doctor Suzune, but it's at something like 12 volumes now, so I question that FAKKU is really going to want to translate them all (also, with the way that Haruki draws stuff, I doubt that there's anything to uncensor, so I don't know how feasible it is to get an uncensored version, which FAKKU is likely to require). It sure would be awesome if they actually picked it up though. Haruki's artwork is epic, and that series is quite good.
Given how she was acting, it was pretty awesome how the janitor had power over her - and then you find out _why_ the janitor had power over her, and that was pretty terrible. It would have been much better without the dark backstory.
With the boyfriend skipping out on some months, I kept expecting us to find out that he was cheating on her and that that was the real reason that he didn't come. Either way, that relationship was clearly doomed unless one of them actually moved to where the other one was if not outright moved in with them. The neighbor was still a jerk who only won her over, because he was good in bed, and she was starved for sex, but the boyfriend was going to lose her eventually one way or another.
Or something else supernatural. It's Iwasaki Yuuki. There always has to be some weird, supernatural twist. Fortunately, most of the time, it comes at the end of the story, so the majority of the chapter is just sexy content, but for whatever reason, this artist always has to do something to earn the horror tag.
If this had been pretty much any other artist, it would have been another guy at the party that she would have mistaken for her boyfriend, but since it's Iwasaki Yuuki, of course, it had to be something supernatural.
Well, given how a lot of hentai goes, no matter how lovey-dovey the couple is and how much the wife is in love with her husband, some scumbag can always come along and find a way to get her to have sex with him (be it by forcing her, coercing her, tricking her, or whatever), and if he's better in bed than her husband (which he inevitably will be), the husband has lost her. So, arguably, _every_ husband in hentai should be paranoid about his wife being corrupted and/or stolen from him.
That would be awesome, but with how many volumes that would be, I have a hard time believing that they intend to do that. Also, you _can_ still buy the full tankoubon of this from Project Hentai, though it's censored and the image quality is nowhere near as good.
This series is awesome. The artwork is amazing, and the story is great. I recently got the physical release (in Japanese of course) which had all four (or the first four?) chapters and _really_ liked what I saw. It's fantastic to now be getting them translated and uncensored. This artist is definitely now in the list of artists where I'll be grabbing pretty much anything they put out. :)
