Just made an account and signed up for the beta, but I gotta wait for an email or something like that "If I'm chosen"

The "keys" are going out in waves. You'll just have to wait and see if/when you get one. Or wait for open beta.
fyi, if you do get in, know that your character will be wiped when open beta starts.

The character being wiped was a no brainer. Thats why If I do get in the closed beta I won't go hard core. Once the Open beta starts thats when I'll go crazy...if I like the game.

I got into the closed Beta and I've been screwing around a bit. There are a few features that intest me, such as now your job is suggested based on how you play, and the relationships thing is kind of innovative.
Allow me to explain. From the start of the game, you're "matched" to a person whom you would be compatible too. Then, whenever you're near that person, a pink laser-like line is drawn for you to them, and you hear a heart-beat sound if you get close to them. This scared the hell out of me the first time, because I saw the pink line and assumed SNIPER!
Too much TF2. Anyway.
Being the isolationist I am, I never really hung out much with my so called destined relationship. I just soloed some fluffy little animals and somehow felt bad for doing so. They make those little bastards cute..
The beta itself is fun, if only because it doesnt take itself very seriously. On the first night the GM's gave almost everyone who was online 10 million dollars to distrubute to the populace. Random contests, item drops and treasure hunts and stuff happen rather often, and the graphics are pretty.
So, if you like MMO's and are into online relationships, give it a try. If not, wait on the other closed beta being made by the same company. It's less happy go lucky and more killing go... murder.
I have no idea how to describe it.

That does sound kinda cool. Are you matched with a completly random person or do you get to choose? Are there any benefits to being close to your partner?

You're matched by what birth sign and date you picked, I think. There are also a couple questions you have to answer in the begining, but I forget if that was for the relationships or what side you're fighting for.
You get special skills that only you and your lover/friend/relative/teacher/student can use while in a group.
