i got it like saturday? or something. i started on medium and im starting to beat expert right now. i love this game so much. its a shitload of fun. anyone else have it? im playing it as i type actually :D god its fun.

it's probably because I can actually play guitar
in my views it's a cheap knock off of the real thing

I play guitar too and I love GH/2. Rockin' game. Now when Rock Band comes out, I'll have to buy a 360 so I can play drums and rock out with my cock out.

i can kinda play guitar... i've never had lessons and i've taught myself a lot but i dont really know many songs offhand... if i look at tabs they refresh my memory and i can play them but i only hold a few near and dear =]

If you rig the ps2 with a hard drive you can make your own. I've played a couple that people made that are soo much harder than the original game

im off and on learning stuff on my own... mostly i just play guitar solo's and stuff, but i can never do bridges and chorus parts because i dont know how to do a bunch of bar chords and such

sprat11, I'm not an advocate of GHII at all, and I've been playing guitar for almost as long as you have, but I really don't think it's all that bad.
And, if anything, you're pissed for all the wrong reasons. A hell of a lot of those songs are way more difficult on that guitar controller than on a real six string axe.

And all the elitists that hate guitar hero just because they can play the guitar are just silly. It's just a freakin video game that's fun to play. It's not meant to replace the guitar by any means.
