you should get a copy of it cause it's the the prequel of the Final Fantasy VII series, it's about the story of Zack Fair, how he got the buster sword and how Cloud gets it...

When I first saw the movie cutscene with Zack and another character fighting Sephiroth, I thought the game was for one of the next-gen consoles, until my friend asked the shopkeeper. I am somewhat surprised that the PSP could handle such graphics.
It goes to show I need to keep up with gaming technology. *sweats*

The PS1 couldn't handle the cutscenes or some backgrounds in FF7 & 8 either. It's all done with pre-rendered movies or backgrounds to make it look better than what the system can handle.
A friend of mine got a PSP a few weeks back as well as Crisis Core. I need to take it hostage the next time he's over and wants to play my PS3 XD. Though, i find it kind of odd that EVERYTHING is left to luck(summons, leveling, and such)

1)It's real time action RPG with some sort of rolling machine command/support(a little like Tifa's Limit break,I think),if u have played Kingdom Heart, the gameplay is similar.
2) Youtube man,you are so lazy :?

Yeah the game has amazing graphics for a PSP game in general. Here's a link to Xplay's review on the game to the general audience.

Hahhh Finally back from long long busy busy work...
Well anyways there more games out there that has the same quality it's just that it has been a tradition of Final Fantasy to have a superb graphics and a beginner friendly gameplay and for those who want extreme there's always a hidden ultra powerful boss to be challenge...
For Crisis Core it's the hard mode missions...

:D the game is freaking good, thought the only thing thatmade lose interest is the part about "levelin up, limit breaks and so on is given by luck". 7 6 7 somtimes it pisses me off that im so close to levelin up....(like the game is sayin haha bitch u can't level until u do about 20% more missions)

I liked the game alot but unfortunately it has a very sad ending.
P:S//The final cutscene of Cloud on the train to Shinra was first thought of as a PS3 remake of the original FF7. Too bad that isnt true :? Though the remake could happen, provided that the developers at Square had some free time in their hectic schedule after completing FF 13 and vs 13. fingers crossed there eh? (I wonder if I wanna watch Aerith get slain by Sephiroth in next gen graphics, hmmm)

Beating the game with 100% mission: first you need to know how to make god like materias because after level 50+ your stats stops to increase you have to make a materia with a 100stats boost or 999% for HP,MP and AP, you can acquire some in missions but it's not really worth equipping, but you can use it to make a god like materia of your choice like what I did
My materia :
Spoiler:
now to make Zack godlike hitting 99999 damage with his skill materias and having 99999 HP you have to get the godly accessories that can be found in missions, some are in chest and others are bought in shops
My accessories :
Spoiler:
with that you'll be able to finish the game with 100% missions, although having a 100% mission won't change the ending, just for the challenge...

I'm still only at 60% mission complete on hard. I just hate the instant death even with safety helm on -_-

I am biased against Final Fantasy VII for reasons I don't wanna go into. I don't want to make this a debate topic. Anyway, good news is, my sister bought it and she's been really happy with it. If any of you guys are undecided here, she votes yeah

Not a big fan of FF7. But Crisis Croe was pretty amazing. Especially the graphics for a hand-held system.
I didn't like the game itself, but the play "loveless" was amazing. Genesis is my hero. Anyone interested in the play? It's a short play followed by a poem.
LOVELESS ( INTERPRETED )
Loveless - Prologue
When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end
The goddess descends from the sky
Wings of light and dark spread afar
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting
Loveless - Act I
The Infinite mystery
The gift of the goddess is what the three men seek
But their fates are scattered by war
One becomes a hero, one wanders the land
And the last is taken prisoner
But the three are still bound by a solemn oath
To seek the answer together, once again
Loveless - Act II
Though the prisoner escapes, he is gravely wounded
His life is saved, however
By a woman of the opposing nation
He begins a life of seclusion with her
Which seems to hold the promise of eternal bliss
But as happiness grows, so does guilt
Of not fulfilling the oath to his friends
Loveless - Act III
As the war sends the world hurling towards destruction
The prisoner departs with his newfound love
And embarks on a new journey
He is guided by hope that the gift will bring bliss
And the oath that he swore to his friends
Though no oath is shared between the lovers
In their hearts they know they will meet again

LOVELESS ( POEM )
Loveless - Prologue
When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end
The goddess descends from the sky
Wings of light and dark spread afar
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting
Loveless - Act I
Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess
We seek it thus, and take it to the sky
Ripples form on the water's surface
The wandering soul knows no rest
Loveless - Act II
There is no hate, only joy
For you are beloved by the goddess
Hero of the dawn, Healer of worlds
Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul
Pride is lost
Wings stripped away, the end is nigh
Loveless - Act III
My friend, do you fly away now?
To a world that abhors you and I?
All that awaits you is a somber morrow
No matter where the winds may blow
My friend, your desire
Is the bringer of life, the gift of the goddess
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
Loveless - Act IV
My friend, the fates are cruel
There are no dreams, no honor remains
The arrow has left the bow of the goddess
My soul, corrupted by vengeance
Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey
In my own salvation
And your eternal slumber
Legend shall speak
Of sacrifice at world's end
The wind sails over the water's surface
Quietly, but surely
Since there was no ending to the poem, Genesis went and made it himself.
Loveless - Act V -Made by Genesis-
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice
Amazing stuff, man.
