Condemned 2

I like the beginning of the game more than the second half. This is mostly because an ancient mystical cult is introduced. I also liked the feeling I get in melee combat more than ranged combat. I could feel the shivers go up my arm as I smacked clouds of blood and teeth out of a psychotic bum's mouth. That feeling is irreplaceable.
I also enjoyed the investigation scenes.

the game-play is quite exceptional. Though it is really slow paced, it's very well delived when you smack a zombie with a pipe. I have to agree that the first half was better mainly because of that played-out trick of an ancient mystical cult... come on people!

So would it be the best horror game?? Or fatal frame still seats on first place???
Ps: Zombies?? i wouldn't call them zombies...

The first game had great pacing. It was a slow to build freaky horror investigation game. This was wonderful, but at the end of the first game, the horror peaked. Beginning the second game as the same character, you can't expect him to go through the same slow buildup to something scary, because he already saw a ton of scary stuff last time around. So Condemned 2 starts out with freakiness from the get go. If you accept the necessary difference in fundamental design, you can realize that the second game is also very good.
