A port for the PSP system that was released in Japan on September 25, 2008, under the title Mana-Khemia Gakuen no Renkinjutsushi-tachi Plus, and will be released in North America on January 20, 2009. There will be added features like multiplayer battles, Jump Start function to allow the game to load faster, and more items that can be synthesized. In multiplayer battles, rare items can be dropped from enemies that cannot be found in the main game.

I've just bought it, and it's nice to relive it since my last job pretty much ruined my experience with the ps2 MK.
I just need to get enough monay to get me another one so I can play with myself on multiplayer. :?

Well, I gotta say... I'm not disappointed, especially for $30. Definitely worth the buy.
So, is the multi-player local only? If not, I'd be willing to team up and smash some monsters lol
