Dollhouse

Blah, didn't like most of this episode. I hated the singer, bitch needed to die. Noteable thing that happened was Echo shaking her head at Sierra during the ending. Cop guy was set up by the informant, turns out the informant is from dollhouse. I wonder how the stalker neighbor will play into the storyline.

I too was hoping the singer would actually die. And the head shaking thing at the end was kind of interesting, I hope Echo remembering things doesn't happen too fast and it takes its time (even if it has poor ratings). Also kind of interesting (if expected) that Echo did well with her parameters as the bodyguard was saying at the end.

The cop's informant (Victor?) being from the Dollhouse was a surprising twist. I wasn't sure if it was the same guy, I had to watch that part again (had to watch this one online). Kind of want to see where that leads since it seems the Dollhouse is leading the cop on.

For the first episode, I think it would have had a better impact if Echo was wiped before she went back to the kidnapper's house (when the bodyguard was running and you thought she had been wiped). Instead of saving the girl it would have been dramatic and showed that happy ending don't happen all the time.

I liked this one. Looks like our detective has finally gotten so close to the dollhouse project that people are really taking notice of it, which has resulted in quite a bit of action in this episode. It is good to see some light shed on his objectives, and I even enjoyed Patton Oswald's brief guest appearance. Odd though how they somehow managed to get a sleeper agent living across from their most tenacious problem. Was she always like that, or did they change her at some point during his investigation? Just seems very convenient, nor do I understand why they would send Sierra's pervo handler to kill her and then have her kill him, when they could have just killed him earlier. I guess it was to send the detective some sort of message? I'm a little fuzzy on exactly what they are trying to do there, but at least the preview for the next episode looks interesting.

I liked it, was actually pretty funny with everyone acting all goofy in it. We get a brief glimpse at the incident that might have landed Echo in the dollhouse to begin with, although all in all, not too much in the way of progress in this episode. But the preview for the next episode makes it look like we're almost at the end of the series. Here's hoping they didn't get cancelled already.

So, Echo got a call to the ex FBI agent. Next epi sounds pretty exciting, they've got a spy in there.

I was mad at first when I saw this little experiment in action, since it seemed like nothing more than an exercise in cruelty. To think that Amy Acker's character had actually thought it up in order to fix their little memory problems. Still, it was kinda messed up up to see all the dolls leaving and the ploop, turning back around. I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for that detective, since this case is clearly going to haunt him to his grave. He's already getting the messed up nightmares, insanity follows.

Tonights episode was alot of fun. Finally being able to figure out who has been sending info to that detective was great, and you can just imagine the drama that will ensue from him letting November reveal herself to that guy. He probably knows that he can somehow use this girl to get into the dollhouse, and once he gets desperate enough, he will. Funny to see DeWitt shacking up with one of the dolls, although if anyone should have a right for a little doll-time, it's probably her. I think it has been made pretty clear that Echo will eventually break their little operation, and you'd think that now, at the early signs of it, they'd put a stop on that. They'll regret it later. Heh. Next week's episode looks bad-ass, too.

Wait, was it confirmed that Dominique was sending the ex FBI agent the info? I know he was spying for the NSA, but it seems likely he was sending info to the FBI agent. After all, his mission was to make sure the dollhouse never went public.

My feelings for DeWitt keep going back and forth from dislike to feeling sorry for her. This was definately a sorrowful episode with peeking into her relationship with the doll.


We also know that the Doc never seems to leave the Dollhouse. And possibly has no friends outside of work. Quite sad and lonely. Wonder if we'll ever get a Doc heavy episode or if we'll just keep getting snippets of her character. I'm in favor of a Doc heavy epi, LOVE Amy Acker.

I like this episode, since I'm a huge fan of little murder mysteries like this one. Still a little hard to believe that Margaret was able to land that young and handsome of a husband who actually loved her, but it's kinda nice to see. Considering Topher was using one of the dolls for his own amusement (as we have seen DeWitt do earlier), one has to wonder who else on the inside is guilty of this crime. In a way, the people employed at the dollhouse are probably some of the loneliest individuals around, and possibly the most likely ones to rent out a friend. Perhaps Amy Acker's character? She always seems kinda sad when she's on screen, so maybe. But I digress. The preview for the next episode seems alot of fun, plus I could have sworn I saw Alan Tudyk for a second. It's amazing how the same people always find their way into Joss Whedon's stuff, but hey, if I was a producer I'd hire all my friends, too.

Yeah, I agree about the whole lonely parts. I wonder if Amy's character was like that before the whole Alpha deal. The next epi looks pretty exciting, I'm guessing we're nearing the season finale now. I forget what episode number we're on...I'd also hire all my friends too.

This was, hands down, the best episode so far. Not only did we finally see that idiot detective break into the dollhouse (That's their own fault, by the way, the sort of half-assed surveillance they had on him was pathetic), we finally get to see an old face. Alan Tudyk was brilliant, and finding out who he was playing there towards the end, had me in stitches. He was always amusing on Firefly, but I think he fits very well here. It's too bad that he probably won't be around for too long, but I think I should enjoy the ride from this point forward even more.
