Best Uploader

This is a general poll to find the best file uploading site available on Fakku. I'm hoping to find a general Fakku consensus on which is the best of all. Hopefully we can use this newly established favorite as the de fact o uploader, used for almost all file uploading.

Megaupload for me, despite recent problems i've had with it.

Hmm...Majority of the votes have gone to MU, and I can actually see how they can be considered the best.

Still, I find myself downloading doujins much more often then visual novels or games, and for smaller downloads, Mediafire shines with unlimited simultaneous downloads.

I say mediafire. You don't have to wait 45 seconds or any length of time before being able to start a download, don't have to wait a period of time in between downloads, (stupid rapidshare; I'm glad it's not a choice for the poll) the download speed is fast regardless of membership or not, and I've never had a download fail on me. I'm not sure of the other details (I don't recall if you can upload over 100MB files on mediafire because I've never downloaded something over 100MB from it), but in terms of convenience and download speed, mediafire wins easily. Being able to have parallel downloads without having to pay is also very nice.



Could save the uploaders a headache if the community manages to agree on a site and they don't have to upload to five or six sites to appease everyone.

This will not affect all the uploaders. It's up to the uploaders which Upload site we will use, Downloaders who get them for free don't have any right to tell us uploaders on where must we upload. Just like Raze and the translation team that won't accept any request.

If the community still doesn't want to adapt, uploaders can just stop uploading for the community and find another community.


In my case, I only use mediafire if the files are under 50mb. and mainly use megaupload.

I'm usually use mediafire, but if you're asking about the best one, it's megaupload.

i think it fits best in suggestions section,his asking the best uploader site and suggesting that members will use that site to upload their files, thats what i think about what his telling,sorry for my bad english btw,

Definitely Megaupload, which works even better with its download accelerator, Mega Manager. By the way, having an account there reduces the waiting time to 25s from 45s, which really makes it less annoying.

It depends on what exactly is being uploaded.

Mediafire is really good, except that you can't upload large files, while you can on Megaupload. I'd rather wait a minute to download one big file from Megaupload than bother with five links on Mediafire. So, if we're talking about a regular-sized doujin or a manga chapter, Mediafire is the best, but if we're talking about a video or game or something, Megaupload is good.

Rapidshare's all right, too. There aren't any real problems with it, except for the download limit.

So it seems like mediafire has a pretty severe max file size limit. Anyone know what exactly it is?

Well, I find Mediafire a little bit better than MU. But in fact, I'm using MU more often.

Btw. Anyone has got a problem with MU, that some files download at max. speed (450kb/s for me) and another one, downloaded only a minute or two later, go only on about 10-20 kb/s? My connection is not shared (or at least my ISP says so, co I'm wondering.
