Thanks to this thread, I remembered something really good that 4chan had a couple of years ago. Some /b/tards had created what was essentially their own TV station (aptly called /b/tv), where they showed weird porn and funny movies and funny shit. A second channel was made called /h/tv that showed hentai. It was awesome.
The channels worked like an internet radio station, where you opened WinAmp and plugged in what looked like a URL address, and you were tuned into the channel. Of course, it only worked when the people were running it. It wasn't a 24-hour thing.
I've seen people try to replicate this with sites such as mogulus, but pretty much every site like that sucks. With /b/tv and /h/tv, the quality of the picture was wonderful, it didn't lag on crappy computers (trust me, I know from experience), and it seemed to be very easy for the guys in charge to change what they were showing. I was once watching /h/tv with a group of people, and we booed off a hentai that was boring (all talk and no sex), and within minutes, a different hentai was playing.
I don't know how this would work, if it would be rather easy or incredibly hard, but it would be very fun if we could create our own TV channel, that came online maybe once a week for a couple of hours, or even longer. We could have a thread about it where people could post comments, or we could use the IRC (if people were willing to visit the IRC while the station was online). It would be like MST3K, with people poking fun at movies or simply saying, "Man, that kicked ass" or "Damn, her titties are big!" We could show anime or hentai or just random shit.
Now, my computer knowledge is very slim, but I would be willing to help out with this project in any way possible. I don't know how I could help, but I'd be willing to. I don't know what is needed to make something like this a reality, or if it's even feasible, but if someone set it up, I certainly wouldn't mind being the guy who uploads stuff to watch and creates schedules and anything else (if my shitty computer allowed to do so). I have a lot of free time, and I love Fakku and its users, and our own TV station would be radical. To the max.

Shit sounds awesome all right, but I wonder about what would be necessary to run the thing. As far as setup though, it looks like Winamp has you covered already:
