Some of you hear the 6th Harry Potter movie is on the way. I'll probably check it out because it kinda got my attention but not enough to buy and read the book series. So how many of you are excited as I am or more about this?
Plus Who thinks the cast is getting little bit old?

Its going to be terrible. Ever since they switched directors the movies have gone down the hill in quality. I laughed the entirety of the last movie it was so awful
[size=10]Not the entire thing but people complained to my face afterwards so quite a portion of it[/h]
Also its the same director so its going to be just as bad if not worse. I'll see it regardless sinces its Harry Fucking Potter.

Dude, did you see Emma Watson's recent modelling pics? I think it'd be worth it just for that. :P
Seriously though, they will rape that book repeatedly, just like they did the last one.

You're better off reading the books. You're really depriving yourself of a classic series.
Azkaban and Goblet of fire were raped like hell.

I'm a little skeptical. From what I've read, it sounds like they just took out too much from the book. I mean, I know they have to, but that doesn't mean it I have to accept it as being good. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised though. I'm still looking forward to it nevertheless.
But seriously, you have to read the books. I didn't until after I saw Goblet of Fire in theaters, and I'm so glad I decided to read them after all. Talk about a different experience.

I really got into the harry potter thing because I had to read a book and take a test on that book. Luckily, the harry potter books was on the list. those movies save me time and from being held back.

I've seen a couple of TV spots, and from them I can ascertain that this movie will be about boys and girls kissing.
That is seriously all the TV spots talk about. Dumbledore asks Harry about his activities outside of school, Harry says a girl is just a friend, some girl kisses Harry, girl says she's Harry's girlfriend . . . I mean, what the fuck? Isn't this supposed to be about wizards and some super evil guy?

The kids are growing up. Relationships play a big role in the sixth book. <.<

The movies are a total fuckin disaster if you've already read the books, if you haven't they could be fun i guess.

I figured, but the TV spots mention no conflict whatsoever besides "She's not my girlfriend/He's my boyfriend." I haven't read the series, but I'm sure there's more to the book than relationship problems. And it seems really cheap to advertise the movie as if the relationships are the focus. (They aren't, right?)

They play a BIG part on the book but they're no really that bad. Half-Blood Prince is a pretty dark book so they probably don't want to emphasize that stuff on the trailers. The relationship stuff are just used to break away from the serious plot points.
Also, the TV spots are just good marketing. They work for attracting the dumb teenagers that are only into dumb chick flicks.
