[Anime] Cafe Junkie II

To be honest, I didn't expect some of the complimentary comments on the first episode of this series. I had doubts about the plot and animation quality right before I released the first episode, but you guys sure seemed to love it. And so, there's no way we'd not work on the sequel of such a well-received release: Anime Release #13 - Cafe Junkie #2 - Caffe Latte!



And so, the obligatory translation and project notes. Ershin, who's been translating scan projects for us for the longest time, assumed the role of translator in his first ever anime project. He produced a script that was near-flawless in its accuracy, and very good in its punctuation and line pacing. The script was, by any standards, excellent, considering this was his first anime project.

We have a new timer for this project. VGuy brings onto the table a range of talents: he has basic knowledge of Japanese, is well-versed in timing, and he can do basic typesetting and encoding as well. We'll most certainly hope to see such a multi-skilled subber stick around for our future projects! For this release he produced a well-timed blank script, with my job being to insert the translated lines into the blank script and do the usual editing stuff.

And of course, we can't forget the awesome Bob64, who is responsible for all the kickass typesetting you see in this release. He also risks melting down his room everytime he encodes the releases, just so you guys know.

The dialogue in this released caused neither Ershin nor me problems, except for that horrible part at the end where the girls were gargling incoherently. We were seriously considering putting a bunch of Wingdings there instead rather than spend forever figuring the lines out, but we decided against it and tried our best. This is how much we love you guys.

So, more of the tension, drama, and sex that characterized the first episode. Masato continues to be a big dick and breaks everyone's hearts, Kaede decides to come back, and... the ending melted my brain, but again, hentai never really made very much sense anyway.
