I've been a fan of the series since battlefield 2 and i now have battlefield 2142. Here is my profile. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this game or was a fan of the series. http://battlefield.ea.com/battlefield/bf2142/PlayerSummary.aspx?Lang=us&SrchName=&Profiles=&PID=87526623

I enjoyed BF1942 and got Road to Rome and Secret Weapons. I missed the boat on BF2 and Vietnam, but in retrospect I think that was fine.
I did pick up BF2142 and I'm having fun. Still can't fly worth a damn, so I'm building up my unlocks for the support class. They're the best when you play with high ping.

I loved Battlefield 1942. Spent many many fun hours playing that. In fact I kind of have the urge to play...

1942 was fun. Lag was a killer though, since I was an engineer/medic sort, and those types never got decent weapons. I spent maybe half my time healing. I'm so glad they decided to add in iron sights and aiming mode in later BF games. Funny, but these days it feels weird playing an FPS without them.
Re: 2142, I really hate the name censorship. They won't let me select "unangbangkay" as a soldier name, because it has "bang" in it. That's kind of excessive, eh?
