From the previews and trailers that I've seen, it looks fucking awesome. I know it's no Valkyrie, but it does look rather promising. And anything from Quetin Tarantino is known just to be something special.
I just hope to pray I can watch it in theaters.

I'm going to a screening of this tonight, will drop some opinions in here afterwards.

I kind of want to see it, but not because of the trailers. All they do is make it look like an ultra-violent movie about trying to kill Hitler. But knowing Tarantino, there's a lot more to the story than that.

This movie kicks ass. Alot of ass. So far this is the best thing I've seen all year, and while the violent parts play a big part in this (And they are quite violent), there is even more fun to be had in the rest of the movie. Don't be mistaken, there is some brutality to be had, but that's only about 25% of the movie. The rest is a potent mixture of suspense, intrigue, and comedy. Also, be prepared to read alot. Although there is some english spoken, there is more german and french to be had, but seeing as this is a site for anime enthusiasts, I don't think reading will be a problem for anyone.
Although Brad Pitt's character seems a bit cheesy at first (...and throughout), he actually does a decent job. Probably responsible for alot of the humor. BJ Novak plays his part well, even if he could have used more screentime. There's a brief moment with a heavily make-uped Mike Myers. It's tolerable! I really can't say anymore without giving stuff away. There was 6 of us watching, 2 girls....they didn't much seem to care for it, but we had a blast. 4.5/5 Stars.

Curious and Wondering
Inglorious Basterds... almost like Valkyrie, but different in three things: 1, IB has art and pulse more than 100 Valkyries combined, 2, Hitler dies in IB, and 3, Brad Pitt looks better in a mustache than Tom Cruise in Valkyrie.
Tarantino does a good job overall. Lots of aesthesized violence (his flourish), action, sarcastic liners, comedic effects, and good acting from some of its ensemble cast (I mean, Eli Roth did a good job with his character). It's a good lounge movie viewing when the DVD comes out.

Going to see it tomorrow. Brad Pitt should not be as good as he is in these kind of movies. But he is.

Movie was fucking great.
That's about all I have to say about it. Probably my favorite Tarintino film in recent years.

Better be above 70% on RT. Otherwise, I am dissappoint.
UPDATE:
HUGO STIGLITZ

Other than the Basterds, Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa is the most entertaining part of the movie.
He's an almost lovable Nazi. :?

Well... It was more story driven than I thought. But it was nicely balanced. But for a Q.T. film there could've been more action
