30 original songs are being written for the actors to perform with actual instruments after they undergo intensive training. Director Yukihiko Tsutsumi (20th Century Boys, Trick, Ikebukuro West Gate Park, H2) will begin shooting the film at the beginning of July, and the film will open in Japan in Fall of 2010. To be honest, I'm not really into live action films and what I'm mostly looking forward to this adaptation is the MUSIC. Anyways, it wouldn't hurt to watch a few but I sure do hope they get a pretty good looking actress to play as Maho (if ever).
PS: BECK is one of my all time favorite manga and anime series alike so they better do it right!

Well at least they got someone to play Ryusuke who speaks fluent English.

I hope they do this great series justice. Live actions with music usually end up well like the NANA live action movies.

Actually, I should have saw it coming, similar to many other manga-anime-live-action adaptations.
