I just finished reading Red Son and Kingdom Come. holy Sh*t! They were Amazing! I was never really into comic books until I read Watchmen (yes, I know) and these two convinced me this is what i wanna be reading. First of all, what did you guys think of them, and second, are there any more similar in style to these? i was thinking about getting the Killing Joke next.

Ohh the red son is fuck'en sweet, I mean superman a Russian fuck'en sweet.I have never read Kingdom come, but I guess it sounds good might look into it, when I have time.

Thank you so much for the suggestions, but I am a poor college student. Are any of these one volume graphic novels? (I know the blackest night isn't) I spent about 24 bucks on red son and kingdom come, and i wouldn't mind spending another twelve or so, but i don't have enough money to get into a series.
