[suggestion] Claimed waifu list thread
Should a thread be created and stickied?

If there's one thing I've learned from the waifu game, it's that it's SRS BUZNESS. VERY serious. O_o
What I'm suggesting is a thread specifically for a list of claimed waifus, if possible, stickied in IB. The second post would contain the list, so the OP could edit it whenver he/she desires without the worry of sticky falling off.
Stupid idea, or perhaps it may avoid some problems? I know that from personal experience I nearly made an invalid claim because I believed that the list that was in the first post was up-to-date, when it wasn't...Thankfully, just as I was about to post, Naoto updated the list on that same page that I was about to post. But I got lucky, some people aren't going to bother looking through 5+ pages of "I claim '...' as my waifu!", followed by "you SOB, she's mine!" drama just to see if somewhere along those post there's an updated list of claimed waifus.
So, if said waifu list thread is created and stickied, it could avoid all those "I didn't see your claim", followed by "that's because the list on the first page hasn't been updated" drama.
Waar can't edit the first post without a mod present, cause we all know what happens when you edit the first post in a stickied thread. I suggested to him that he put the list in the second post, but for obvious reasons that'd be impossible because:
1. You can't immediatly make a second post, there's like a 10..15...maybe 30 second cooldown before you can post again.
2. By the time he is able to make a new post, I agree that there's probably gonna be 10+ claims before that.
The OP of said claimed waifu list thread (whoever decides to take up such a task) could bump it whenver there's an update, write like "last update, novemberXX" as to avoid the "Hey, you didn't add my claim" followed by "I updated the list 3 days ago, that's why" posts.
Just an idea to hopefully lower the drama/confusion that happens in the game. ^_^;

That's what I have in mind too, this is a good idea. Its much more easier to follow in my opinion also it makes the job of whoever keeping the list easier.

Honestly, you're making a rather large deal about it being stickied, I was unaware it was such a big deal among some of you.
p.s. I am not suggesting that I am against this, just wasnt aware it was an issue. Those of us playing the game from round one will probably reaad every claim, and know where to find the latest list, the only real confusion is when a new player joins and assume the list is updated without checking. I could simply warn users to look for a more recent post made by "so and such" user.

As I said in the IB thread:
1) Post the list anywhere in the primary topic (to whomever will be managing it this time around)
2) Ask a staff member to make it the 2nd post in the topic (fairly sure admins can do that, dunno about mods)
3) Update the list regularly
4) Profit
Alternative: Don't bother the staff with mundane issues since some people will still keep on ignoring the list from time to time.
