CoD 4: Modern Warefare

I've been playing CoD 4 for almost 3 straight days on 360. Alot better than Halo 3 in single player, but sadly no co-op, and in multiplayer.

This game is kick-ass!!! I unfortunately cant afford it at the time being so err....heh heh *couch* crack *cough*, anyway, the game is awesome, the gfx are amazing and takes a surprisingly little amount of processor power along with it. The single player storyline is great and the missions are so unique, i havnt had a chance to play the Multiplayer yet (which has RPG-like leveling up systems) but ive been to busy playing the single again and again lol. Its a definite must-play!!!

Been playing this for a while now, the single player mode is fun, its just so short, the levels are linear and it kinda gets old fast, it is however great, the first few times through.
It has some great set piece fights , a good one is inside a TV studio office, PC screens and desks go flying everywhere, a cool high altitude attack run in an AC 130(?) gunship, blowing stuff up though infra red sights is awesome too.
The multiplayer is ok, not great, they usually develop into a confusing clusterfucks of near instant death, there a several game modes but they all equate to about the same thing. Is fun for a while but it kinda lacks depth with no vehicles or squads to play with, there are a few different classes to play at, just a shame that most of them are useless, and almost everyone runs around as assault. The maps are usually just too small to do much on, with 20 people playing it feels like there is no cover(you can shoot through walls so there really isnt that much cover lol)
I do like this game, I just wish there was a little more general depth to it.

I hear theres a mission where you run around for 20 mins with a injured soldier on your back with no weapon. Reminds me of SC 30 min survival a bit. And the ending sounds pretty epic.

omg YES, that was my FAVORITE MISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its a mission that happens 15 years before the main storyline (instead of just stating a back-story, they make you play it to understand). Your character is a sniper sent with another sniper (a master sniper) on an assassination mission. Its one of the only levels where you start out NOT being able to just go for all-out shooting fests, you have to stay low and sneak around enemies and make your way to your post. Anyway, after that mission your position gets discovered and you have to escape while being chased by enemy troops. At one point an attack helicopter comes for you, and with your high-powered sniper rifle you have to shoot it down. Well when you do it crashes, but one of the blades lands on your partner and he's injured. So you have to carry him to the extraction point, while doing so you dont have access to your gun, so when you get attacked you have to place him down in a specific area so he can shoot to. After they enemies are gone, you gotta pick him up again and keep going, eventually you make it to a small park and set him down on a vantage point and you both have to hold off wave after wave of guys with your sniper rifles until the extraction team arrives. It was tough, but so f'ing fun. O and the ending......was perhaps the most unexpected and coolest ending to a game ive ever seen, i dont wanna ruin it so unless you ask specifically, i wont say anything.

This game must require insane system specs. Meh, I don't have the money to buy a new computer every year.

You are wrong!CoD was always optimized at its best!U only need Prosecor 2.4GHz Ram512 MB and graphic card 128bit and higher! Not thAT much for its quality

yea i know, its AMAZING how little cpu and overall strain CoD4 uses. Its gfx are amazing and yet i can easily minimize and maximize from fullscreen, with very little lag time between them. And im running a 5 1/2 year old Shitty DELL system with shitty upgrades.

CoD4 is a great game
After I installed it and start playing I just can't stop until I finished all of the missions.
This game is so cool.
The sniper mission and the AC-130 Spectre gunship mission "ka-boom" :D

I was incredibly happy to finally have another amazing Call of Duty game (I loved CoD I and CoD II). I played through all of it in a couple nights, and loved every little bit. The mission in the past was amazing, and there were many incredibly intense moments (so much, that I seriously thought about going back and replaying them, because I thought I had done something wrong or different). Then I realized that CoD is always linear, and I should just enjoy the movie as best I can.
And enjoy I did.
And enjoy I did.

I want to buy this game for my 360, maybe I'll download first to my PC and if I like it will go and buy it, I have seen some videos and it looks awesome, I can't wait to play

Best mission in the game has to be the Mile High Club on veteran nothing says broken flat panel TV faster than this insanely hard task. My name on xbox live is Kynnad so send me a friend invite mentioning fakku and I'll accept and play with ya'll.

COD 4 is a great game but the main storyline is short but at the same time amazing. The online multi-player is awesome many game modes and the ability to customize your own gun as you rank up. If anyone has this for the PS3 and plays online my PSN is Cyrax11 see you on the battlefield.

I hear it's has awesome game dynamics from a friend, and he rated Crysis pretty harshly. We will see...
