To Heart 2 XRated

Of the 3 hentai forums that I visit on a regular basis, none of them have many topics discussing the various Japanese hentai games, other than those found in the download sections. The majority of members may not be well-versed in Japanese, opting to go for the CG images instead of playing through the whole game mindlessly, especially those "click-a-thons".

As the title goes, I will be talking about To Heart 2 XRated, more of a visual novel (with adult scenes included) than a full hentai game. Even though the game has not been translated, there are enjoyable moments, which I will come to shortly. Gameplay involves making decisions on what to say and places to visit, with the aim of capturing the heart of a particular female character.

As compared to the anime series and OVAs, To Heart 2 XRated provides a more in-depth storyline with greater character development. The voice actors and actresses are the same for both the game and its anime counterpart, making it easier for gamers to relate to them. The sexy voice of Tamaki, the cute voices of Konomi and the slightly clumsy Manaka... who can resist them?

The opening theme song, Heart to Heart, is fast paced, accurately depicting the high school romance genre. On the other hand, I found the ending theme to be soothing, but lengthy.

Cute sprites of the various characters in chibi form is what attracted me to the game. Of course, the mini-games included, Super Sweet Scramble and Dokidoki Panic Library are equally entertaining.

Super Sweet Scramble is a top view shooting scroller. Remember those top view arcade games in which you pilot an aircraft to dodge incoming attacks and destroy enemies? The same principle applies, but this time round, your character is sitting upon a spoon, killing off evil doughnuts, pretzels, sweets, puddings, etc, while trying to obtain power ups.


Dokidoki Panic Library is a puzzle game that eliminates 3 aligned books from playing field. Difficult for me to describe, I present you with another screenshot courtesy of the official Leaf website:

P.S. To Heart 2 Another Days, an adult game featuring an adventure system, will be out in December. According to my knowledge, the side heroines will now take centre stage.

To Heart 2 Another Days, the sequel to To Heart 2 XRated, will be officially released today, 29 February 2008. Who else, other than myself, will be looking forward to the game?

However, prior to its official release, some "fakes" are already floating around the internet, though it is possible that some of them could be the real deal. In addition, there are rumours that [color=brown][font=Arial Black]Ikuno[/font][/color] ([color=brown][font=Arial Black]Manaka[/font][/color]'s younger sister)'s route does not contain any HCG. The newest loli character [font=Arial Black][color=cyan]Nanako[/color][/font] does not seem to have any either. Even though [font=Arial Black]Konomi[/font]'s mother appears to play a greater part in game, I doubt she can be "interacted" with. Perhaps the absence of their hentai images will be rectified by a patch released at a later date?

Looking on the bright side, both [font=Arial Black][color=red]Tamaki[/color][/font] and [font=Arial Black]Konomi[/font] return, and apparently, they come together as a pair.

I have not played it yet, but I will, just waiting my friend to do a H-game trade with him. I love games like this, I even collect them, the Japanese language is now more understandable after playing these games for about three years, and I only studied the basic language (hiragana and katakana). I just need my simple Kanji dictionary and I'll be fine. I'm currently playing Da Capo 2

Seriously though. I'm rather angry because the download of "TH2: Another Days" on P2P has been stuck at around 60% for days, and torrents don't work very well for me. Grrr.

Actually, I don't think you really need it, since all you have to do is meet up with your chosen female character at the end of the each day. :D

I think you should load, and do a different choice. There's not so many choices, So a couple of Re-loads will do.

For pre-cautions save for every choice branch.

I don't remember about the availability, cause I cleared Lucy right after Tama-Nee and Sasara, maybe you accidentally skipped an event in the city. There are two parts of the city, maybe you left one out.

The last character to be cleared are maybe the twins, since you must not encounter anybody to meet them.

Just want to ask as reference which is better Tsuyokiss or this game??? I wanted to know which game I should dl first (In my place the internet is shared so downloading one is actually long :cry:)
