Avatar advertisement...

I find the advertisement for Avatar is hilarious. I have seen two types of commercials for the movie, child friendly and adult.
Child friendly shows no guns or explosions at all with happy music being played. It shows scenes of him running around and shit and jokes, commentary talking about "Greatest adventure in a lifetime."
Now adult commercial is all about explosions and gunfire. No actual dialogue just violence.
I just find the two commercials hilarious since they're directed towards two different audiences. Almost as if they are decieving them :3

Hmmm...I saw a different trailer. It had a full preview (gunfire and drama involved} of the story that made me want to go out and watch it.

You know you should post a video or trailer of the movie you are talking about.
Cause the fact is there are two Avatar movies.
One is being done by M Night Shyamalan, and is based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. It's called The Last Airbender.
The other is the one with blue aliens and humans fighting each other on the aliens home planet. This one is called Avatar, and has not one damn thing to do with the Airbender series other than it's name.
Now from what you say I would assume that you mean the one by M Night Shyamalan.
However I could be wrong.

Almost as if they are decieving them :3All advertisements do that. They don't care about telling people what the movie is about; they just want to get them in the theater. There's a long history of movie advertisements misleading viewers. I believe some ads even spoil major events of the movie, just so something cool will be in the ad.

gunfireThere's your answer right there Avatar the Last Airbender has no guns that was easy enough to figure out.
I finally saw that kid friendly one pretty funny that they are so different.
I enjoy the totally confusing ad's that have told me nothing of what the movie is actually about, I only know from a friend, there is one ad that I have never seen that actually tells you about the movie.
From what I hear though sounds like a good movie.
