Prince of Persia Movie 2009

At first it threw me off when I heard Jake Gyllenhaal is taking the lead role, but after seeing that trailer.... I think its gonna be a pretty good movie.

I expect this is gonna be a movie worthy the title of POP :-)

I actually think it looks silly. mahmoud ahmadinejad Jake Gyllenhaal doesn't seem to fit the role very well. Plus he is a gay cowboy. [size=7]not that there is anything wrong with that...[/h]

Still I hope it turns out good because videja games need more respect story wise and if people are like "oh this was a video game?" then mission accomplished for me.

Here you go. There's no info, but the fact that it's there means it has a high possibility of being made into a movie. It's at least being discussed. And I love Prince of Persia but I hate Jake Gyllenhaal so hopefully he doesn't ruin the movie.

As others have stated, the trailer certainly gives the movie a good impression, I believe I'll watch this and see how it goes. Oh, and I have no beef with Jake Gyllenhaal.

When i saw his arm i thought they have made a mistake confusing the sands of time with "The two thrones"

Maybe they are gonna combine these two elements into one movie, on second thought was that really prince with that "dark prince" arm or that was someone else?

Could be good, probably won't be. Also, SotC had some awful directors taking interest, and Bioshock got shifted to a bad director from a good'un. It'll be another dud year or two, methinks.

POP is a good game series so I hope the movie will be good too.

Even tough it's called Sands of Time I saw some elements from The Two Thrones.

But I will definitely watch it when it come out.
