Back when this game came out, I was really interested in it because of the system that the game used. It had a trust system where, depending on your actions, your teammates would trust you more/less. For example, to gain the trust of your team you could do a bloodtest to show them that your not infected...or you could try it on them to see if they really are who they claim to be.....
Overall I think this is easily one of the few games based off a movie that doesn't suck ass. Anyone else played it? Loved/hated it?
P.s: checked the masterlist, this game wasn't in it.

I LOVED JOHN CARPENTER'S THE THING! I hate the concept that they are going to remake this version. The black hand white one is also good but I like the suspense from this one more.
Anyways, the game was pretty lame in my opinion. Same monsters over and over again, opening more than 50 spark boxes to open stuff(dear lord this pissed me off), and also the fact that I checked for a guy to see if he was an alien and he wasn't but a minute later he transforms and attacks and I just go wtf.

I loved the game when it first came out and I love the movie even more. Also I haven't heard anything about a remake of John's The Thing, but Wiki says a sequel with the returning two at the end is in the works tho no official announcement has been made.
